This is a java applet which lets you view an image taken with a 'sphere camera' which is something something something I forget the explanation, I think they said 'two hyper-something fish eyes' and it can see in just about all directions (except for the region where his hand is).

Pretty cool I think.

What else is cool?

(bonus points if you can find me a youtube video with like I don't know anthropomorphic lions complaining their report cards that have too many Fs and asking their teachers to put some 'D's on said card.)

that's pretty cool too, roto. I hate the fake-out effect where it looks like you can see in front of those people but you really can't.

I would probably join your community, but I would be spending all of my time just replicating stuff from apod, color_theory, and metafilter.
