Gross...hate it..

I like other types of alcoholic beverages, but for some reason I can't acquire a taste for any kind of wine, and believe me I'm bombarded by opportunities to do so.

Do you like wine?

Is there any specific type/label?

i drank wine when i was a minor .... wuss

some wine depends on what you eat it with like we had some aussie wine that went well with steak (oh aussie members, could you ship me some kangaroo meat? i really want to try it)

were you drinking red or white? professional or homemade?

The times I've tasted wine I found it was really really disgusting.

Sometimes, I feel uncultured when I go to fancy restaurants and everyone there is drinking wine and there's this big extensive wine list, and the waiter comes around asking if you'd like to try some of this or that wine and I'm just like, "eh... no thanks."

Like 98% of alcholic beverages, I think wine tastes icky.

Except when it's used as part of the cooking process. Shrimp tossed in a splash of white wine, basil, and mozzerella? Omg, so freakin delicious.

I just made chicken picatta yesterday (and had the leftovers today) with white wine, garlic and butter and it was super yummy.

In food = amazing
On it's own = bleh

I drink wine at the dinner table. It's something I got accustomed to when I was young. When I go out I generally have mixed drinks, though. Beer is for when you chill with your friends.

I don't like wine. I like grape jooz though. But then again I don't like beer either. I just drink it to get drunk. :monkey:
But wine over vodka anyday. A-N-Y-D-A-Y.

I love wine. There's literally nothing like a good glass of wine, to either relax on, or to some delicious food that suits the wine, naturally.

I mostly drink red wine, but white wine is also great.

I like wine. Good wine, anyway. It doesn't have to be expensive to be good - some of my favourites are about $8 a bottle, on discount. I tend to prefer strong (but not bitter) reds, fruity whites, and nearly any rosé.

Medieval-style spiced wine is glorious. I can make a pretty good batch out of any wine, white or red, good or crummy. That, and an ample amount of honey and a wee bag of spices.

Uhh, what did you think sake was? Sake IS wine.

But me? I love wine, maybe because I've been raised on it, or maybe because it's just damn good. In fact, my parents run a home brewery, making a batch of wine and beer about every month or so, I got them to make me a batch too from the kit I bought, damn good stuff, it's such a dark red it almost looks like you're drinking blood. I prefer red to white, and slightly sweet to dry.

Red wine is one of my favourite drinks. Though you obviously have to have white wine with some foods, just because red wouldn't go.

I like a rosé myself.

I remember once there was nothing to drink in the house so I just drank wine all day :hat:

I think red wine can be one of the highlights in life sometimes. It goes with most meals in my opinion, with some exceptions like most fast foods or simple pasta meals.

Sparkling white wine can be pretty good. White wine isn't too bad in general.

It's better than beer but not much better. To each their own, etc.

Good wine is nice. Beer, though, that's disgusting. Why anyone would poor that bile into their bodies is a mystery to me.

I don't mind wine. I prefer red.

The only wine I've ever been able to bring myself to drink is rose, but I wouldn't choose wine over a mixed drink or beer. I can't drink red because makes me gag.

Wine is delish. I can drink Pinot like its going out of style. I'm not a big fan of Cabernet Sauvignon, mainly because it gives me a headache. But most other types are yummy..

I like Lambrini, it's such a chav drink though, but it's quite yummy though drinking it straight from the bottle whilst spinning = retching. Lambrini is just lemonade compared to other wines, though.

I'm slowly getting onto beer. I can't remember which beer it was, but it was okay.

I really haven't tasted wine since I was four and I didn't like it then. I tasted Vodka tonight and it is my mortal enemy right now. Oh, it's in my veins.

Some wines are absolutely horrid but others I rather like. I much prefer red to white. I don't drink much at all, really, so it'll be two glasses at the most but I do tend to enjoy drinking wine more than I enjoy drinking beer or lager or whatever. I think it's mostly a case of finding the right drink for you (be it wine, beer or something else).

Though the spiced wine that Big D mentioned sounds really interesting. I'd like to try that.

Wine, Scotch whisky, brandy, is gross >_<

I am partial to a glass of Cava, though (really sweet, cheap fizzy wine.)
