I just love it when a thread has a topic of "Which is better, X or Y?" and a handful of people get so adamant about their opinion as if the others are going so say, "Wow, you're right, I've never thought of it that way before. My entire opinion on this subject has done a 180 and I've rewired my experiences and perceptions to exactly match yours. Thanks!"

Seriously, you aren't going to change anyone's opinion on a hotly contested subject through a message board. You're not that awesome.

Numbnuts.

I think you're wrong! I turn people whichever way I want using the might of my voice! Well, my Internet voice. The way my letters look.

I have an opinion, and by the gods I'll force it on others!

I never get heated, though it probably sounds that way :jess: It's hard to translate the way I would actually say it to text. I don't really get huffy or all screamy about... anything.

Sometimes it's fun, other times it goes too far... Can't have a forum without a little of it!

But... Resident Evil 4 was the worst in the series! I know it because it's true!

Everyone agrees with you, Manus. It's just that the five people who like RE4 are really loud. And stupid.

Kefka is the better villain, why can't you let yourself admit that?

Just take a step back and acknowledge that you're wrong, that's all I ask.

Explaining to stupid people why they're wrong is what the internet is for. It's not my fault if some people don't listen to reason.

People don't have to adopt my opinion, they just have to acknowledge that it's the right one.

I think Plato got it right when saying that fools by virtue of the ignorance do not seek wisdom. The same as a wiseman does not seek wisdom for he already has it. A philosopher who is a friend of wisdom, is always seeking it. They are neither ignorant nor wise.

The problem is too many people think they are wisemen when they are fools. There are not enough philosophers around. :/
