Songs slowing down D:

Most of the songs I put in my mp3 player slow down just a tad when they get in there D:

I never notice until I listen to the same song on my computer and it plays at the normal speed.


Any ideas to what might cause this?

When you put them on the MP3 player, do you just copy and paste them from Windows or do you use a special program?

If it's a special program (like iTunes or Windows Media Player) it could be trying to transcode your songs into a different format. Doing this could mess with the bitrates and make them sound slower.

I used to use WMP but then it started making my computer act up when I did it that way so now I just copy and paste.

Also when I used WMP it made all of the FFX tunes display that they were almost three times longer than they actually were. Like Assault would show up as seven minutes when it's actually like two.
