My husband has played so much Wii Tennis that the graph can't even hold his score any more.

Have you ever played a game to the point where you max out your score, break a really high limit, etc.? I vaguely remember building everything in Meteos and then maxing out my materials. I might be making that up, though.

....Your husband is a hero to Wii tennis players everywhere *salutes*

I recall one time playing a demo of 3D frogman (pac man except it was a frog) and the numbers capped at 99999. After about 6 more rounds (I was very very very bored and the music is very hypnotic) i noticed the score began to scramble it self. I took it as a compliment and jumped into the nearest ghost. I never played the game since :D

Oh! OH! I borrowed Agrias' PSP with her Sega Genesis Collection game. I was very close to maxing out the score in Columns before giving it back. I reached the point where the game wasn't getting any harder, but I wasn't having any problem playing. xP

I've screwed up the timer on more than just a handful of games.

Although, there was this one glitch with my Pokemon TCG game back in the days of Gameboy color. Apparently, I played so much that one day, the game decided to screw around with my favorite decks, deleted my name (it was blank), and split into two different records: the ones I made during the game, and ones I made post-game.

1,000+ hours (999 hrs and 59 minutes) of FFXII and I have nothing to show for it but beating the final boss :(

Ripped tons of pics though: all maps, the entire bestiary, fmvs....

I topped out FFVII's timer if that counts. Back when I had patience for such crap. Back when Cloud was my B/F :mad2:

1) I had no idea you were a woman Roto13. Shows how much I don't come here anymore.

2) That's funny about Wii Tennis. I have done that to a couple of games, myself. None come to mind, though.

3) There is always a third reason for things.

On my 'master' FFVII file, the money's so high the save file can't display it properly. According to the memory card screen, I've got L1253579 gil. The actual sum is 150,253,579.

A buddy of mine has a file like that. I call him a loser and I kick him in the nuts ever single time I see him. He can no longer have children, which Jesus Christ himself thanks me for everyday.

Not saying you are a loser, though. My friend took it too far...but that is a different story all together.

Wii Tennis is awesome.

I think my sister is off the chart in Wii Bowling. xD

I was just about to mention columns. If you get your score high enough then the game instantly crashes which is what happened to me. I can't remember my score exactly but it was in the tens of millions.

Oh! Oh! I learned this from the "King of Kong" documentary. In Pac Man, Donkey Kong and similar old arcade games, they call it the 'kill screen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kill_screen)'. Those arcade games don't have a proper 'ending', so the game just arbitrarily kills you or otherwise glitches out when you get to a certain point.

Hmmm. I wonder if I play my Kid Icarus game nonstop on my Wii (so I can save where I am) I'll get a kill screen too? I have over 2,000,000 points accumulated over around 20 rounds of the game.

Your husband's got mad skills, Roto..!

Wow, you people are awesome. I wish I had some kind of cool thing. About the only thing I can think of is maxing the Clock in Digimon World 2. But that is because it stops at 99:59 and that game is long dungeon crawl, but it was the first game I broke the 99 hour mark so I was a little exc!ted. Although I do I an almost max stat Lilithmon on Digimon World DS Dawn though.

I have the current highscore for this game. (http://rankz.armorbot.com/sky-diving-man/) That was my second go. :)

I got everything on Soul Calibur II and maxed out my clock several times over on Dragon Warrior Monsters.

I actually wrote a short essay (http://www.JEREMYTIME/upload/Level%20256.doc) on this for a class, if anyone is interested.
