For me:

- Till There Was You
- I Saw Her Standing There
- ... third one sooo hard to choose, there's so many good ones xD It'd have to be between Strawberry Fields, Ob-la-di Ob-la-da, Two of Us, A Taste of Honey, Hey Jude... yeah I can't decide! :</>D

What's yours?

I'm so excited because next week's American Idol is Beatles songs ^__^

Horrible question, but if I were to choose 3 they would be:
- Yesterday
- I'll Follow The Sun
- I Want You (She's So Heavy)

:)

I'm pretty sure I read a list from some music magazine of the top 100 worst songs of all time. I think Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da was on it. xP

I would say that's one of my least fave songs of theirs...I thought Hey Jude was their most popular/voted best.

My faves are, in no particular order

-In My Life
-Norwegian Wood
-Yesterday

Random order:

- "Hey Jude"
- "Here Comes The Sun"
- "Let It Be"

EDIT: Changed "Yesterday" to "Let It Be".. it's just a better song :)

- Blackbird
- Here, There and Everywhere
- Two Of Us

I was going to say that it's impossible to pick out just three songs from a body of work as diverse and brilliant as The Beatles'. But now I think about it, those three songs, conveniently enough, stand out as being on another level. Which, when we're talking about The Beatles, is truly amazing. Don't ask me to order them, though.

Honorable mentions go to most of their discography. :p

But it's so fun! I love it ^_^

Looks like Yesterday is pretty popular :3

I have to preface my choices. I don't really love the Beatles. If they're the only decent thing to listen to, I listen.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Let it Be
Come Together

And if there were four, Twist and Shout.

I'm not really sure if these are the right names to be honest, but meh.

I wanna hold your hand
You say Goodbye, I say hello
(Can't think of the third.)

While My Guitar Gently Weeps

I also like that one :3

PS it's Hello, Goodbye~

Edit: Blackbird is really pretty too xD

Then whoever wrote that list was an asshole!

I don't think I can really accurately pick my favorite three of the three that I think are the best. There are simply far too many that are incredible. But I can listen to:

Eleanor Rigby
Yesterday
Blackbird

forever and never find them any less beautiful.

I Took the Red Pill

No order.

Strawberry Fields Forever
With a Little Help from My Friends
Yesterday

Blackbird
While my Guitar Gently Weeps
Yesterday

Part of me didn't want to say Yesterday because it's such an obvious choice, but it is such an utterly great song that I couldn't resist.

In My Life
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Here comes the sun

so many more....

Strawberry Fields
Revolution
Helter Skelter

I tend to listen to these three the most.

Eleanor Rigby, Yesterday, Across The Universe, Hey Jude, etc. All their songs never disappoint. One of the few bands in history I can listen to every song and like them just as much as their others. I don't claim to be an expert on Beatles music though, theres much I don't know.

I'm sure I will change my mind every five minutes, for for now...

-Revolution
-Strawberry Fields
-Lady Madonna

White Raven

~I Want You (She's so Heavy) *top by far*
~A Day in the Life
~I Am the Walrus

Any song could really make it's case for this list tho...

"Norwegian Wood", "With a Little Help From My Friends", and "You Never Give Me Your Money", though that was super hard to narrow down. The second two choices were almost wholly arbitrary.

Hey Jude
Eleanor Rigby
Let It Be

Ugh, it's so hard. I'll probably change my mind in a few seconds.

"The Stones were better."

"The Floyd were better."

I don't believe this is a thread on either. Although if you want to go there, you can compare Floyd to the Beatles if you wish. The Stones, as great as they are, are not on the level of either of them.

And you can't pick the best Beatles songs. There's too many. I'll just say go with albums and say Abbey Road, Sgt. Peppers, and the White Album.... Or Hard Day's Night... Or Help... Or Rubber Soul... Or... Yeah, the point I think is made.

Hey Jude
Eleanor Rigby
Let It Be

Ugh, it's so hard. I'll probably change my mind in a few seconds.
All three of those were in the Beatles medley that I did with my choir... I think you're the first one to pull that off so far =)

I looped the end of Hey Jude so it would last about 50-60 minutes. It's hilarious... I ask people to listen to it while they're doing something, then they focus on whatever they're working on, after a while they finish, and then they finally notice that they've been listening to the same segment for about a half hour without realizing it.

I'd have to say Hey Jude, Yesterday, and... ummm... *rolls dice* All You Need Is Love.
