I'm stuck in the Pharos

I've managed to defeat the boss 'Pandaemonium', and then saved my game. I've continued on within the place, defeating the monsters as i go. However, i've reached the section where there are these green block things, where i'm clearly meant to cross them, but i can't do so, and i'm stuck at what i should do.

Kill the Brainpans in the area in order to cross over the "green block things", killing them causes a bridge to be made and you're able to get to the next area. There's one floor where you have to avoid killing a different colored one though. I think it's the green ones you can't kill.

Oh and there's a certain amount you have to kill on each floor in order to move on but I can't remember, usually if you kill all the ones you see you can cross but if not they respawn.

You have to kill all of the brainpans (green flames) until the green blocks reach the other side and solidify.

On some floors, there are deiders, leave them alone until you have killed all of the brainpans and the green bridge is finished. They will remove one green block from an unfinished bridge. They do make a red bridge that leads to treasure though, so you should kill them after making your green bridges.
