I just want to know what you think it is. It doesn't matter if you know what it is or not. It's for a survey. So don't go looking it up.

So, what do you think a dexascan is?

What an odd question.

Is it for some kind of medical class?

Dexascans are used to test for things like osteoperosis and bone mineral density. It can also test for people who have brittle bone's and to see if they'll need more supplements or not. My grandmothers had a couple of these done. It's basically a lower done X-ray that changes it's frequency to check density.

In reality it's two words, because DEXA is short for a big long thing I can't remember but the X stands for X-ray, and scan.. well.. that should be obvious.

It sounds like something used to measure dexterity. I can't really tell without looking it up. I'm sorry.

A dexa scan is used in the radiography profession to assess the density of the bones! I only know this because I'm a health and social care student, though. :jess:

Is it a ten sided shape? Wild guess...I really don't know the answer, without looking it up.

It sounds like a ten scan, but I know it's not deca. It also reminds me of a song called Dekadance. Either way, I have nothing.
