Intro time, I suppose. I came to this forum because a long, long time ago LunarWeaver kept pestering me to join. Today, bored and sick I suddenly remembered the name of the site and decided "hey, why not" and here I am.

So, about me?

Well, I was an RPG nut for a looong time, and as such Square games sucked up a healthy(?) amount of my childhood. In recent times, I've grown out of the more traditionally-styled RPGs and I prefer RPGs with very unconventional executions or otherwise find my niche in various action and adventure-oriented games. I prefer shorter, better-paced gaming experiences that offer more actual content instead of 30 hours of filler. Some of my absolute favorites include Vagrant Story, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Beyond Good & Evil, Rez, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, Soul Reaver 2 and Legacy of Kain: Defiance, and, most recently, the delicious Portal. I still enjoy a long game every now and then, however (Okami is sublime, and I spent some 380 hours with Final Fantasy XII). On the whole, I try my best to sample a wide variety of gaming experiences and I do my best not to review/score a game until I've actually finished it (because you can be surprised). I'm also something of a games-are-art hippie.

Outside of gaming, I enjoy being a wordy bastard who has been known to edit long posts 80 times to make sure all of the spelling and grammar are correct. I'm also a chronic list-maker, constantly compiling (and then subsequently editing or deleting) game-related lists.

Aside from gaming/writing/list-making, I love to exercise and I take care of my 2-year old nephew pretty much all the time.

Oh, and music. Toss music in there somewhere.

You appear to be a characterisation of my tendency to be a little over-enthusiastic in accentuating my points through the extensive use of the English language and vocabulary including general elaboration, metaphors and future re-visits to make additions and corrections through the editing interface. *Breathes*
