Who is your favorite current artist?

Mine? Bon Iver

Bon Iver is the stage and recording name of indie folk (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indie_folk) singer-songwriter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singer-songwriter) Justin Vernon. As for what I'm into right now, Xiu Xiu.

A pic is actually in my sig. They do experimental rock/indie/punk. Not like anything I've ever heard before. I tend to get the "love them or hate them" vibe and nothing in between. I love them, obviously, though there are some songs I don't really like.

Tenacious D and Gabrielle. Yeah, I don't really know either. Liable to change soon, I've been listening to them for a while...

Oh, and I've recently discovered Fiona Apple. I love her, I think she's got a fantastic voice.

I've found myself obsessed with this band's music... "Sometimes the Wilderness" is an extremely epic song... they will go very far one day, they just need the exposure! :D!

I'm actually a bit sick of music lately, maybe cos I cant get into a lot of the new stuff I've heard (probably cos I've been listening to the radio, not the best place..) but I did discover the Avalanches album, old but pretty cool. Also Chicane maybe, I only just got into them. :3
