It may be a little unhip to be an LJ'er nowadays, what with the Russians and MySpace and such, but I just thought I'd post to remind everyone with a LiveJournal that the badge of honour, the EoFF LJ Community (http://community.livejournal.com/eoff/) is still available to add to your friends list, so come on, why not join :D?

Also Loony BoB smells bad ^o^

I forgot all about Adventures from Mullet Land. I wonder if I should actually make an effort at LiveJournal or not. My entire journal consists of around a dozen entries made during 2004 and 2005.

Everyone should join LJ and add me x] I just realized I haven't made a new LJ friend in months :p

I do not like Livejournal very much. I check the Friends Page on a regular basis because others in my communities seem to like it more than popular social media websites like MySpace and Facebook.

I think Facebook is more for keeping track of everyone you've ever known in real life. And MySpace is for emos and 13-year-old whores.

LiveJournal is the place where you post stuff that you aren't allowed to post at EoFF. It's great.

Also, I approve of the announcements being posted into the community. Awesome idea.

I do smell a little worse than usual. But my hair smells of whatever it is that Head & Shoulders smells of these days. Is it watermelon? I'm not really sure.

I joined, My lj is mostly full of stupid survey's that I do at work when bored, or me ranting about my isp, the bbc and myspace being crap.

Facebook was originally open only to students or alumni of select college communities; MySpace has a wider demographic than that, too.

You're right. MySpace is also full of bands and n00bs.

How did you reply to me so quickly?

Anyway, MySpace tends to attract a more down-to-earth crowd than Facebook. I think my research showed that Facebook is a far more affluent community than MySpace and I think that distinction was influenced by the origins of both sites. MySpace has always been open to everyone; Facebook was previously a college student and alumni social networking website.

My observation on my communities' preference for Livejournal demonstrates the age and experience of the group.

I've found that myspace is kinda annoying to be on because since anyone can join, spammers do, in multitudes.

You can set it to different things so only people you know can comment and all that razmataz.

I think MySpace is great for bands and stuff to get out on the web and have the potential to get a big fan base quickly. As for just regukar old peeps, there isn't much use other than to cam whore and show off to your friends in class that you have 2 more friends than them.

It's good in theory but I think MySpace is too diluted and saturated at this point for bands to gain any publicity this way.

100% true for me.

I love LJ. Y'all should add me, if you don't mind someone who posts a good 3 times a day at times about my life/barack obama/harry potter slash/depression/college/etc.
