Please be kind! >_< Oh man. I've been fooling with signatures for a long time but it wasn't until more recently that I've actually tried understanding more to photoshop than cut, paste, throwing text, sticking a border up, and calling it a day. Layers and filters and stamps and... @_@ Its all so confusing! I'm stubborn and refuse to read guides. xD So everything is trial and error.

So I was looking for some hints, advice, and opinions on my more up to date endeavors and there was nowhere else I could think of better to go than here for these things. There are so many talented artists on here that I've admired for years so yeah...

You can use text very effectively - an awesome talent. You also seem to have a pretty good instinct for picking and placing renders and working the colour schemes really nicely around them without making them too samey. Kudos to you.

Berry, omigosh. You have no idea how nice it is to hear that. I'm always flustered with text and font and where to put things. Its good to know I'm not failing at it terribly.

You're welcome, you got good fonts to say the truth but well, most of designers suck at how they place their text and mix their fonts, you obviously don't. ;)

I like these ones, they got good blending and quality, even though your text in the first and last is not as superub as in the ones before them, I must have envyed you deeply. xD but the second one has good text.

But the second one seems to be a bit plain for me.. but meh, your style is your style. good work with he sigs. Maybe it seemed plain for me because im used to text on sigs... i don't know..

Yeah, the second one is pretty plain but when I added brushes and some stuff it just turned out looking way too busy and cluttered since the stock is such a close up of the couple.

Haha. I'm such a sucker for the square tiles filler. xD I could have blended that better on her so it wasn't sticking out so much.

I'm glad you guys liked the third one though. That one is my favorite. <3

whoooa you're really great with anime sigs :):):) you really have a nice style on all your sigs and basically all of your sigs are great :):):)

don't really have anything to tell you to improve, except maybe try a new style, but why do that when you're already awesome at your current :) and probably like your current style more than other ones :)

these last hmm... the first one is great, love it and it's def the best out of those three (without the squares on the face:)), the second is great, the text is awesome, and the last one has the coolest effects in it :), maybe at some places it looks a bit over-sharpened but maybe that's just the effect...

but anyway they're really good so keep 'em coming :):):)

in fact i think you're already so good at what you're doing that maybe you should try new stuff...

like maybe try c4ds, i mean at first i didn't really use them at all... but as i got better people told me to at least try it and it's really useful... you should try some new stuff... don't be afraid that people might not like it, at least you'll learn from it and get better :)

otherwise i love the backgrounds in these :) really cool colors :)

but like i said, try something new, otherwise all your sig's will pretty much be all the same (not that they're bad or anything), in the end it'll get boring if you don't come up with something new... ;)

Mmm. I'm glad I had some time off from graphics while my lap top was getting fixed.

I toned down using so many brushes. @_@ I got a lil' brush happy. These are more my normal style.

I really like how you utilize your text. Although Photoshop may seem hard, you get used to it eventually. I strongly recommend you learn how to use Filters though. But you'll have to look at a tutorial for it

But heres a quick tip on Renders: If it looks a little choppy around the edges, you might want to put a Stroke around it, but that doesn't always work.

I really enjoy your style on your sigs! A lot of them are bright, which can be a turn off to a lot of people, but they have a soft quality to them that makes them stand out. I'm not sure how to explain it, but I like 'em! ^_^

just looking at your thread now and my my have your sigs evolved since your first batch ( which were awsome ) I too must complement you on your consistency of great sigs and you Amazing use of txt placing over and over again. Makes me Jelaous haha!

If i were to critique anything it would be somethimes you use bad quality renders in some sigs which wreck the whole sig.

Oh and make more sigs! everyone seems to love your stuff. Personally make some grunge stuff!!! my fav style ;) keep it up!

I found myself enthralled with photography and now I'm drawing like a fiend but after lurking around I've really found the passion again to herp and derp around with tags. It's different than the ones I see lurking on the other animu/manga forums. Personally the only issue I have is mainly the typeface. In general, I really don't see cursive fonts working at all especially if you stick it with a serif.

I'm not gonna critique the early ones (i.e. why is there the bleach-captain ranking symbol on the sigs for characters who are not in Bleach?)

You're back in the game I see! At this point I don't think there's much helpful criticism I could give you, Fuzakeru, but in that one signature where you used the pen tool, if you changed the color of the shadow on the Medusa to a dark, puke colored green, it would look a lot more natural, and blend with the background well. Otherwise good job with the blending effects and fonts!

Also I secretly want to work on a collab with you but I guess it's not a secret anymore.
