So people have discovered that when you pick up the moogles around the game, they drop items. Well the items they drop, are the most recent 60 or so items that you DID NOT pick up. Fact is, you could be on New game + of story mode, kill a boss, leave the items (this does not include money)... then load up your multiplay character, go to the moogle, pick him up, and it'll drop all the items that you didn't pick up. AKA, my level 1 clavat that I just made for multiplay has a darksword with HP steal... at level 1.

Not only that, when you trade moogles, the items are transferred with the moogle. So you could effectively send your friend weapons they can't get yet!

Do you think that it is worth the trouble to intentionally miss items so that your Moogle can give them to you in the multiplayer mode?

What does your Moogle give you if you don't miss any items?

absolutely nothing

and is it worth it?
It could be, depending. I mean, you could play all the way through New Game +, and be on New Game ++, then start a multiplayer character. It really all depends.

Heh, that's a pretty neat trick. Nice one :D

So, assuming that SE would have had to program that Moogles keep items when traded, I imagine this was an intentional trick.
