Supposedly neooffice calc (the mac brother to openoffice) is supposed to be able to run vba macros now. Well I tried one and it kinda went into a loop and didn't want to stop until I force-quit the program :]

I'm not too bothered about not being able to run macros in Neooffice for a couple of reasons (computer lab downstairs with office03, don't have anymore assignments that involve them), but the not being able to terminate an endless loop kinda bothers me. Am I missing some aspect of 'LOL WE CAN RUN MOST VBA MACROS NOW' or was I just trying to do some obscenely obscure function like I don't know, if then, while wend, etc?

Is this a tried-and-true macro that you're testing? i.e. it doesn't behave this way when executed in other office environments.

or maybe I just forgot how to use it :D So let's explore the possibility of having a stop button somehwere so I don't have to always force-quit?

ctrl-break or escape works nice to stop endless loops in vba macros in excel itself, did you try that? :p

I was pounding on esc and don't have a break button :(

Break usually shares the Pause button on normal PCs, I dunno about for mac keyboards though :p
