I mean I know it exsists (well I think it does anyways) but I've never been there, is everything (and I mean everything, like buildings and stuff too) battered like people say?

No, it's not.

It's cold during the winter, warm during the summer, rarely ever hot, has crappier football than England but better festivals. Depending on where you go, the housing market might actually still be thriving, oddly enough.

It has me! What more could anyone possibly want?

Scotland is mostly cold but when there is sun all the girls will go out in short skirts and bikini's even though it's still like bloomin' winter! There can be ruff places in Scotland I would say Glasgow is the most popular for batterings and something bad happening. I think we've improved through the year though. :) I think the bests bit of Scotland would be the Highlands from what I've heard it's beautiful. Edinburgh is a really good city and there's always somethign happening. :D

Quit beating around the bush, Baloki.

Yes, there are sheep in Scotland.
Yes, people have sex with said sheep.
Yes, you can join in if you ask nicely.

Actually it's Wales and New Zealand that shag sheep. We eat the sheep and turn them into Haggis. :p

If the movie Doomsday is any indication of Scotland, then all of the populace is crazy mohawk wearing, bondage loving, hardcore rock listening, cannibals, where as the other half is crazy and live in castles like it was the dark ages.

Sounds about right. Don't listen to anyone else's lies. I've been in Scotland my whole life, after all! :p

Can't say much about the cities, but the little villages are as pretty and pastoral as those seen on the small screen. The houses are, naturally, hobbit-sized. The highlands make for some breathtaking scenery. The most unexpected thing I encountered, however, was when we closed in on little village Durness, having seen nothing but roads and highlands (and yes, sheep) for miles, and suddenly faced a sign reading "John Lennon Memorial".

We eat the sheep and turn them into Haggis. :p

Hopefully not in that order.

Scotland is full of Cave Dwellers and has technology that pales in comparison to the technology that us English folk use.

One time I went to Scotland on a school trip in late May, and for the week we were there it was hotter than it had been in Cyprus three weeks earlier.

I know, unheard of!

Scotland's a nice country and one I definitely enjoy visiting. Although I know the west of Scotland (Glasgow and Ayr) better than the east, the people I've met are very nice, friendly and there are some fantastic places to visit.

All our politicians go to Westminster and rule the English with an iron fist. At least that's the impression I got when I spoke to some Londoners.

Never been there. I remember one time I was looking for it in the world map but I couldn't find it so I denied it's existence, that is until today when I'm considering acknowledging it it's own country.

I know this one guy named Scot. :eep:

Can the weather really be as bad as it is in England? I know that crap weather was the real driving force behind British Imperialism. I mean, the places they colonized all have beautiful weather: The Caribbean, Africa, India, Hong Ko...nevermind.

You really shouldn't admit to not being able to find a part of Britain on a map.

Scotland's pretty cool. Lovely hot beaches on the West coast. Nice country to chill in if you're on holiday.

I went there in a hot summer. There were hot beaches. They were toasty and shiny, although the sea was nasty n cold. Nd also I saw a couple of palm trees. I can't remember exactly where I went XD

Definitely the west coast, though!
