KHII's ending made me want to punch babies. Seriously, I loved everything about the game, except the ending. It was very anti-climatic, random, I well, stupid. I much preferred KH1's ending.

When Sora finally found his Riku
I cried for quite a bit
I guess he found Kairi too
But nobody gives a :skull::skull::skull::skull:

Then the game ended and all was done
And so the reality was clear
Until a third there was no more fun
And so I just ate some deer

I thought the ending was solid. It gave me the warm-and-fuzzies, but didn't have quite the same affect that the first game's ending did. I wouldn't consider it "anti-climactic" though, as everything fiiinally came back full-circle and clicked. If anything, I'd say that the ending partially makes up for a lot of the faults with the main storyline.

Nah, it was fairly unemotional in my opinion. I mean, I felt happy I guess that Sora finally returned home with his buddies but yeah...

I'm not really one to cry in books, movies or video games. I guess the only things that have really had a huge impact for me has been The Fountain, Garden State and Crisis Core.

I think the first one was of a cryable ending than the second because you don't know what'll happen to all of them. KH2 is more like a happy ending that made you feel all warm and fuzzy but other than that the end was kinda lame.

The ending to KH is exciting for me! After I watch it I want to play the game again.

The ending to KHII is boring for me! After I watch it I want to throw away my copy.

I must admit that the ending made me feel slightly awkward in its approach to the relationship between Sora and Riku. Did anyone else get this feeling?

I enjoyed the endings of Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts II. My favorite ending is Kingdom Hearts II because it resolves the story, yet...

For the first game, I didn't actually physically cry, but I sure felt like it ><
In the second one, almost everything was resolved, so I felt somewhat happier, until I realized I didn't have any other games to obsess over until the next Kingdom Hearts comes out, and when is that going to happen? 2015??

For Kingdom Hearts' ending, I really felt like I was going to cry, though I didn't actually. It depressed me a lot.

The first fictional thing that actually made me shed tears (aside from the movie Air Bud) was FF X's ending...I SOBBED. Since then, I've cried for pretty much anything that's supposed to be sad, if the music's just right.

SIDE NOTE: Seriously, is anyone else aware of the amazing-ness of the Ozmone Plains piece in FF XII? I haven't listened to VG music in a while, but this one has totally swallowed me up.

Never from the sounds of it.

Do you think that the ending songs of Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II would maintain their emotional impacts if the music was only for an area theme?

Additionally, to those who felt that the endings of each game were emotional, how much of that would you contribute to the music?

Simple and Clean suddenly starts playing when Sora and Kairi are pulled away from each other (during the ending to KH), and Simple and Clean is the reason that part is so memorable and exciting!

I had a warm fuzzy feeling after beating Kingdom Hearts II, but maybe that was just from the epicness (and sheer length) of the final boss battle. It was nowhere near as good as the ending of Kingdom Hearts (I) though. The ending of the original game was beautiful and fantastic in every way. I agree with Marshall banana. :D
