Don't you hate it when you lose the remote? It taunts me so. I haven't seen mine for days. I've scoured my entire room with no luck. Seriously. wtf!

I noticed that once I tend to figure out where my remote normally dissappears it finds a new hiding place in my room :(

I think that a remote should be have a beeper that goes off when you hit a button on the side of the T.V. Much like a phone.

Mine is sitting right in front of me, but sometimes the junk on my desk swallows it and I won't see it for a good couple of days.

My brother lost the remote quite some time ago. I have to get up when I want to change the channel. Fortunately, I don't change channels much.

I've never lost mine. They are always somewhere on my bed.

In my room I only have a small TV which I can cotrol without a remote, and have done for years. If I lost the remote to the downstairs TV I would go insane as there is no way to control it without the use of the remote. :jess:

Gawd, I hate that!

I'll be watching the TV, then instinctively reach towards the right for the remote. I'll pat the couch, then actually start looking around. Then, because I just spend way too much time on the internets, I think "Control F" and then my brain melts.

I lost my remote perhaps 3 years ago or 4. In fact I didn't lose it, either my sister or one of her squealling brats did. I thankfully have the worlds smallest bedroom so I don't even have to get up to change the channel. I might just get a digi box so I can turn channel by being even more lazy, or I might just get a new TV. Since I am looking to move out, new TV seems more likely.

Yeah but at least you can call that and find where it is. I have wondered the same as Dolentrean at times, and never figured out why it's not been implemented. Also, remotes always end up in really random places that nobody could or would ever put them. At least phones go missing sensibly :p

I only have a cell phone so I can guarantee not losing it and if I can't find it for any reason I just call it from someone else's and follow the sound of "foo fighters - the best of you" to it's source

The remote loves to play hide and don't find. It will come up, eventually.

I agree, since I almost always have it set to vibrate. I can call it, but I can't hear it.

I always laugh when I hear people say they accidentally leave it in the fridge.

I've randomly forgotten things in the refrigerator as well. D:

I don't have a reason to use a remote unless I want to control itunes remotely from my bed.

I never lose my remote. I'm smart enough to put it in the same spot everyday :P

I don't lose my remote either. But it falls down all the time :/ It usually lies on my bed and not a day goes by that it doesn't fall off it somehow. A miracle it didn't break yet.

At one point I could not find my remote for a few weeks. It wasn't so bad since I only watch one channel and could reach the buttons on the TV from where I was lying.

I try and do that. Normally I shove it under my pillow so if I want to turn it on as a light source when I need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I can. But I dun know what happened to it this time. I think it got eaten by the monster under the bed :monster:

I dont put my remote anywhere it would have the potential to get lost.

When im done with a remote i put it in an obvious location so searching time is lessened, like say on a table. I know it sounds crazy but i think thats part of the reason tables were invented, to put things on them

Our remote was lost for like one whole day, we did not search for it. It turned up to be inside the fridge. (I don't know who left it there)

The remotes have a set place.

They're never there. Everyone puts them in the wrong place ALL THE TIME.

I never lose the remotes in my room cause they stay on the shelf next to my chair. The ones in the living room are always going missing though. Our dog likes to hide them.

I've never lost mine for more than 10 minutes, but I'm afraid to lose it for more than that cuz I'm already frustrated when I've lost it for only 10 minutes.

That didn't make much sense.

I have three remotes in the living room; one for the TV (which is only used for switching between the Freeview box, DVD player and PS2, and for volume control), the Freeview box, and the DVD player. And whichever one I want, you can bet that's the one I can't find. :mad2:

It's usually under some crap (leaflets, menus newpapers, magazines etc.)
