So it turns out (http://www.jackiechan.com/about/about_bio.html) that today is Jackie Chan's Birthday!!! He happens to be my favourite actor of all time. I'm guessing most of you thought it was Bill Cosby. Although Bill Cosby is great and all, he'll never be able to replace Jackie Chan's fighting style, respectful personality, comedic style, and his devotion to helping out the less fortunate. No offense Bill Cosby.

So what's your favourite Jackie Chan movie, stunt, etc? My favourite movie would probably have to be Around the World in 80 Days or Who am I. As for the most favourite stunt it'd be sliding down the slanted building in Who am I. It didn't look as brutal as his other stunts (like jumping from one building to another or sliding down Christmas lights) and it looked really fun doing.

Also, I guess I'll link you guys to some funny fake Jackie (http://www.jackiechankids.com/files/Movies_One.htm) Chan (http://www.jackiechankids.com/files/Movies_Two.htm) movies (http://www.jackiechankids.com/files/Movies_Three.htm).

I like the older Jackie Chan movies the most, y'know, pre-Hollywood. I did think that the first Rush Hour was pretty enjoyable, though.. but, it's been years since I've seen it. "Who Am I" is a good one, and also the one with Michelle Yeoh (I have somewhat of a weak spot for her).. I can't remember what it's called.

Jackie Chan ftw. Happy Birthday! I like him, but I haven't had enough experience of his films to pick a fave.

Jackie Chan is an absolutely phenomenal performer and all-round awesome guy. The amount of effort and physical injury he endures for the sake of making his movies the very best they can be, even in his older age, is staggering. His Honk Kong movies are a far cry better than anything he has done in the West, my personal favourite being the most recent Police Story movie, which was just plain brilliant. It amazes me that the guy isn't dead, he's had more than his fair share of cuts, bruises and broken bones over the years.

Mister Jackie Chan, the Cap'n salutes you.

If you like Jackie Chan, you owe it to yourself to watch his classic Hong Kong films and not the Hollywood action-comedy crap he's been getting rich on for the past decade. :skull::skull::skull::skull: like Drunken Master, Police Story. Absolutely incredible movies, made only more amazing by watching the outtakes and seeing all the physical abuse he takes when stunts go bad.

I so want to see Forbidden Kingdom. I've waited so long for JAcki Chan and Jet Li to do a movie together.

And yes, I do like his Hong Kong things better then the holly wood ones, but I think they are all good.

Even the Animated Series he had a while ago. :p

Jackie Chan is awesome. Everything he does is great. I can't think of the name, but there was some movie where he had amnesia or something, that was sweet. And I loved Jackie Chan Adventures. Pig with lazer beam eyes FTW.

I think "Who Am I?" was the best movie for me. I loved it, and me and my family watched it all the time. My little brother is a huge Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee fan. :p

Rumble In The Bronx is my favourite "old" Jackie Chan film, The Twins Effect is my favourite movie where he has a cameo role (but still ends up on the cover!), and...I can't decide between Shanghai Noon or Rush Hour for my favourite "new" Jackie Chan Flick.

Happy Birthday, Jackie! You make me momentarily excited about the Olympic Games!

Happy birthday! He is one of my favourites too, and I used to collect his movies. Of course, Drunken Master and Eagle's Shadow comes to mind as my absolute favourites. Police Story 3 was also very good.
