Since FF III was a class based game, much more so then I, it began the tradition of classes in FF. So if given the chance what class would you enjoyed to have seen on the roaster, and to make this more interesting why not create it? All 4 command slots and any magic/special quirks about it.
I'll post mine when I have more time. That and I'll save Blue Mage's for someone else. :p

Pirate;
Commands;
Swashbuckle
Loot
Plunder
Pillage
The Flee command is not available whilst playing the Pirate. In the unlikely event a Pirate loses all it's HP, it will automatically re-raise and kill the enemy out of sheer animosity.

Conjurer:
Attack
Weapon conjuration
Summon
Trap
Attack: Attack with conjured weapon.
Weapon conjuration: Create a weapon for the battle. Conjurers can't equip, so they must conjure every battle if they want to use a weapon.
Summon: Summon a monster that was trapped. Any normal monster can be trapped. They gain Exp like other characters. The monster takes place of the character until dead. Can only summon once per battle.
Trap: Can take a monster to use in battle with summon. Monsters trapped will start at level 1. Monsters HP percentage to trap differs based on enemy power. Some enemy may take 50% while another might take 5%.

aww man I thought it sounded familiar.:( AND IT WAS SO GOOD!!!
well now I need to think of a new one...
Striker
Attack
Strike
Cover
Double-egde
Attack: Attack with equipped weapon
Strike: Much like X-2's blue bullet, most of these attacks do extra damage to certain monster types.
Cover: Takes half damage as you cover for your other party members. Only halves damage and covers for physical attacks.
Double-edge: Uses skills and magic like darkside, darkness, and the mystic flare move I made in "Create the magic". Damages a percentage of your health or magic and damage is based off of that percent.
Weapons: Swords, ninja swords, great swords, daggers, katanas, claws.
Armor: Black belt garbs and light armor a thief can use.

I would be more happy with Final Fantasy 5's class system than the one from Final Fantasy 3

Soul Linker (Haha Ragnarok Online :D)
Spiritual mages that can invoke souls of many different job classes to aid their allies in battle.
Pros: Wide range of support for many different characters.
Cons: Low HP, Weak Def
Commands
Kinesis: Normal attack (long range)
Soul Siphon: Exchang mana with target, targets enemies and allies
Soul Burn: Combusts the targets mana, deals damage according to mana burned.
Soul Enchant: Enchants an ally with its certain job class, target's attacks are changed (Black magic would turn to Sorcery; Blk magic+status, White magic to Eulogy; all spells target everyone)

I would so have a party of 4 Pirates if they existed in that game.
What would Swashbuckle do?

From the J to the P to the L-O-L.
His roflcat rules cause it can cast spells.
I whipped that up together in like 40 seconds.
