After the end of Final Fantasy VI, what do you think the characters did with their spare time?

Gau probably ended up in school somewhere. Since he's never been there, he probably has to start pretty low. I bet he pushes down girls he likes.

Terra probably just got pregnant right away and started popping out babies. She's a megamom now.

Edgar's answer is obvious. No, not king. He's a pimp.

Terra's definitely a soccer mom now, carting around the kids in an SUV and stopping by Starbucks in the morning for the daily soccer mom meeting to discuss whatever it is that soccer moms talk about.

For some reason I see Locke and Celes getting married and then living like white trash with ten kids and always yelling at each other.

Terra looks after kids, Locke sexes Celes, Celes gets sexed by Locke, Setzer probably watches for kicks, Sabin and Edgar turn Castle Figaro into an intergallatic warship, Cyan sets up a flower shop in Zozo, Gau gets a regular spot on "Big Cat Diary", Mog gets eaten by Lone Wolf, Shadow stays dead, Relm and Strago try their spells on each other and subsequently destroy Thamasa, Umaro goes on to make films such as Commando, Predator and Kindegarten Cop and finally Gogo goes back to US politics.

Sabin would open a dojo and trains his students. Edgar would continue to flirt and rule his kingdom. Setzer would continue flying. Celes and Locke would get married and live in a secluded area. Mog would probably make Narshe a home for moogles(since no human no longer lives there). Terra would look after the children.

Gau tried to earn a little extra money mowing lawns but then he remembered that Kefka killed the grass.

Based on that, I think it's logical to assume that Kefka had a monopoly on the lawn mowing business, which would be his day job. I can see Umaro being the strong man/strong Sasquatch with a travelling circus and Cyan becomes an ageing hippy who attempts to stop biological and chemical warfare by spreading his flowers around the world (and he eventually started up SeeD as described by Squall when he's being tortured).

I agree with these things. I can see Locke naming one of his daughters "Rachel" and Celes getting all upset about it.

I dunno that Celes and Locke would end up together. He has a thing for dead chicks. So I would go with that. Locke becomes a graverobber/grave "adventurer". Call him anything else and he will dig up your grandmother and rip her lungs out.

Edgar would likely make a small puppet named Jigsaw, then test the maral steal of people as he put them in situations relevant to their past, must like the "Saw" films. He really was a son of a bitch.

Sabin would prolly move refrigerator's for a living, after his shorts stint of exercise videos would not work out and leave him as a cultural flop.

Gau started filming some of his strange misadventures with animals on the vault, and now it sounds like himself, Johnny Knoxville, and the lead singer from creed have some film deal in the making. I guess it starts out where the fix the clock in Gau's father's house and then rig it with explosives. They sneak in the middle of the night, mud pie the dudes face, then runs off.

Terra would be come the slothly, overweight, unkempt nursery school teacher from hell. When she finds what "love" is, it drives her insane. The constant drama, needing, pulling on others, and so on. She snaps, and locks herself up in the mountains, where she creates ice sculptors of espers. Before hand, she will loose her hands to a nasty paper cut and had her fingers replanced with large sheering devices. The towns people will hate her.

The mog would have suffered a horrible hunting accident finds himself stuffed alongside Umaro in Gau's father's house.

Cyan would get his own podcast on speaking like a douchebag.

GoGo would form a pop band, and politics have already been pointed out.

Strago would become a champion spelunker and sponge collector.

Shadow goes to right all the wrongs he has made. Sad part is, he started with suicide.

Setzer goes to the Opera.

Realm becomes a master painter then paints and esper from memory. Resurrections of the espers begin, she snaps, and then a CG sequel to Final Fantasy VI comes out.

Lock leaves for a quest to find the Ultimate Treasure, and Celes and Mog go with him. Since Umaro is friends with Mog, he probably goes too. Setzer likes this particulat kind of gambling and provides his airship, probably helping Lock to get information.
Tina looks after the kids in Moblitz and continues to be their mom, except for Katrina's and Dean's child, for whom she becomes "Aunt Tina". After a while, she discovers more feelings and she could be going to have kids of her own. But I can't think of a suitable father.
Edgar goes back to be King and turns Figaro into the main technological city in the world, and and Mash keeps training with Duncan.
Relms keeps painting for Owzer and eventually he propels her to be the most famous painter in the world. She settles down in town together with Interceptor and Strago, who still always enjoys a good quarrel with Gunho.
Cyan remarries and has other children. He trains them to the art of swordfighting, while keeping on making his fake flowers for his wife.
Gau is probably looked after by Tina or Mash. He could be made to go to school, which could bring to very funny situations.
GoGo joins a circus and amazes the public with his/her Mimic skills.
Shadow... well, he stays dead.
