Ohio here, Ohio there. It looks like Ohio's everywhere! Not that Ohio's bad, of course.

So, why do you think so many of us are from Ohio?

I say I'm from ohio elsewhere, maybe here too, but I am actually in A certain state that looks like a mitten... NO ONE WILL GUESS IT!!!

Oh no, I'm in Indiana, only next to Ohio D: I fully intend to leech off their fame, though!

If you asked me to pinpoint Ohio on a map, I wouldn't be able to do it, even if my life depended on it. :o

I... I don't know where Indiana is. :(

I'm guessing it's right around the middle?

Araciel

To be honest, I'm only 100% sure I could point out Alaska, Florida, Texas, California, and Hawaii.

Now pick out Lincoln on this map of the UK. :p

To tell you the truth, I couldn't do it, and I live there! :D

EDIT: I tried that place the state thing; I was surprisingly close for most of them, and got 31 perfect, though it did turn into a bit of a jigsaw near the end.

Also I fell into the Washington DC trap. :p

Since we're doing fun things with states.... I can name them all in alphabetical order! If enough people demand it, I'll do it lol

As for that addicting game thing. The last time I did it(a while ago) I had like 46 perfect and average distance off was 44 miles or something.
(it depends on how lucky you get with what states you start with. If I have nothing to gauge off of the middle states can be hard to place)

EDIT: Just did it again... 50 out of 51 perfect, average distance off was 1 mile lol (first state to place was kansas) 145 seconds!

oh right Ohio... I know like one person from there. I guess I don't talk to the people from this site that are from there.

LMAO! You circled more than a third of the US and still missed Ohio!

Thank you, Miriel. My husband and his family have mocked my inability to name all fifty states for years, and you have made me feel much better about myself.

Now just don't bring up any of the many things you can show me up on and I'll be good for awhile.

43/51, average error of 43 miles. I missed the first couple of Plains states I laid down, and DC. Other than that it was either a tiny miss or Alabama.

No one knows about Ohio because we're the ninja state....litterally, we got a lot of Ninjutsu dojo's I found out here, and the propagator of Ninja pop culture, Stephen K. Hayes is from Dayton, Ohio. Yay we're just that cool.

Ohio is for lovers because it is shaped like a heart. This is your only clue.

And yes it's a stupid looking heart but apparently they're proud of that shape. I think arkansas has a prettier shape myself.

Well, another guilty one here. I've lived in Ohio all my life, and I can't even fathom living anywhere else. Some of us are just born Buckeyes, I guess.

the only states i can point out are NY, Florida, California and Nevada :p

you know why?

Ny - where i am
Florida - vacation in miami
California - cause its awsomesauce
Nevada - Las Vegas !! :)

maybe texas.. cause its so big :p

but for the rest.. i can only say: I can place every country in europe, america and 50% of South america, afrika and Asia.. so i dont really care :p

98.03, but that test is dumb. It's really easy to place the last 25 or so since they just fit together. I misplaced a free-floating Missouri slightly, but it's not even a real state, so who cares. HI KALEN

That game is stupid. You get it wrong, and it tells you. You get close, and it's wrong. Lame.
