No. Not The Who.

Someone explain this one to me:

Music Composed And Arranged By Yasunori Mitsuda

Music By Nobuo Uematsu

I can't figure that one out? Which one of those did the music and why is the other trying to take credit for it?

Mitsuda did 90% of the music while Nobuo did a few tracks and mainly supervised the young Mitsuda.

And that was enough in the 1990's for Squaresoft to give him full credit in the postgame credits?

Depending on the ending you see it may say Yasunori with Nobuo. But it evens out because Yasunori is the only one mentioned in the opening credits.

Mitsuda did the music for CT and it was his first project at Square doing composing. Towards the ending of the project, Mitsuda got an ulcer from all the stress and Uematsu stepped in to finish the music for the game while Mitsuda was in the hospital. They both get billing on the OS.

There are similar cases of instances like this with new programmers and senior programmers; in a corporate environment, your supervisor will often be mentioned over you, even if they didn't do all of the work —
