Soul Calibur 4!

So, is anyone else excited about this game? I certainly am! There's plenty of trailers for it on Youtube. Personally, I'm a big fan of the Soul Calibur series - I never really liked fighting games, but when weapons such as swords and staves come into play, it makes things a lot more interesting.

My favourite characters to use are Ivy, Sophitia, Taki and Siegfried. Hopefully I'll be able to beat a lot of people online with them.

I'm looking forward to it. I got over the dilution of its characters a while ago (Snake and Sonic helped) so having all these random cameos doesn't bother me at all. I'm kind of skeptical about some of the new gameplay, though.

Kilik, Raphael and Setsuka were the characters I used most often.

I'm a big SC fan, but for some reason I'm not that excited over this game. Maybe because SC III was such a let down.

I'll probably get it at launch and start exploding over how awesome it is, though. :P

Ill buy it but probably not at launch, maybe after Tekken 6 is released, which is actually being delayed because of SCIV (the developers dont want the two fighters to clash for some reason)

Oh, and a completely ladies man here, Ill own you lot with Cassandra and Sophitia with my eyes closed. Im sure Mo-Nercy would have something to say about that.

Yes. I first have to buy a PS3, but after that I'll most definitely buy Soul Calibur 4 as well.

I mostly play with Ivy, Taki, Seung-Mina and Kilik. I like playing with most characters, though.

Im actually really happy that Yoda is in the 360 version x3!
Although Ivy was totally nerfed in SCIII, I'm rooting she'll be back in awesome form for SCIV lol.
Cassandra,Talim,and Tira are cool,but I think they were all pretty much ruined in SCIII,except for Tira of course since thats when she was introduced,lol.
Screw accessability,I like the moves being complicated!

Cassandra wasn't ruined in III. :P She was made into a totally unfair powerhouse. The tier list was like Cassandra and Sophitia, a bunch of blank space, and then everyone else, and then Talim. xP

my question is how can anyweapon stand up against a lightsaber? Even in the movies, lightsabers can't readily cut certain metals. Presumably, Earth's spring steel will be one of those weapons :p
Or alternatively, it'll be a side-effect of the Jedi types crossing time and space (and possibly, a universal barrier) to reach this world.
