After leaving for a weekend, I feel totally out of sorts in my dorm room again (too close to leaving it for good :(), but besides such things as 'why is my desk so squeaky?' 'why does my chair feel so tall to sit in?' 'why did my plant's leaves go limp' (forgot to water it ;D), there is 'are those drinks I left in the fridge still good?'

They are time sensitive drinks, milk and tea. For some reason, stu glowed when I suggested I get a half gallon of milk, but has he helped me drink it? No!

The gallon of tea has been there longer, just over a week now I think, and it was getting pretty cloudy when I shook it up. When I poured it, there slowly dripped into the second (and final) glass a frothy foam. it's kinda neat! It doesn't really have much of a taste, but it was fun to eat off of pretzel sticks, and really you know what?

It's almost what I was expecting when I would always hear people talking about bubble tea. And I guess I still haven't had bubble tea despite ordering it before (they gave me some disgusting carbonated flavored water thing with a million pieces of ice. that surely can't be bubble tea! not if it's anything like what google images says it is!)

but dang it's fun.

I love bubble tea. It's tea-like stuff (well, I've never had it as real tea, it's always been like a powdered drink mix, but then again some "chai tea" is made like that too) with tapioca bubbles on the bottom. Though I thought it was something different when I first heard of it too.

The gallon of tea has been there longer, just over a week now.

You're supposed to let it steep for about a minute and then drink it. A week is a major no-no

for tea I make myself or my mom makes maybe. From Arizona teas, I expect a minimum of FIVE DAYS.

you act as though I am ignorant of tea's ways! I'm a college student and supposed to be eating ALL my food past the expiration date~

Mmmmm. Bubble tea. The first time I had it (it was actually bubble lychee juice for me, because I wanted something sweet) I thought "Hey! There's little black gummi bears in my drink! <3". Yummyyummy.

As the resident asian I have to admit that yes, I do drink Bubble Tea. It's not very often though. The last time a girl suggested we go to the local Chinese Mall (largest in Canada? N. America?) and she bought me bubble tea.

Jack Johnson is coming to Oro in August :D

Also, bubbletea, like all tea, is gross.
