In my final year of university.

Unless I fail my exams.

Which I will.

But that's not the point.

I disagree with this poll, because college isn't school? If college is to be included, then University should also be. xD

Also, I'm done with school in about 2 weeks, so I dunno what to vote as of right now.

Aren't people up to the age of 10 allowed on the forums? It said so in the Rules/FAQ.

Legally, you have to be 13 in order to be registered here. Unless you have your parent/guardians permission.

People 10 years of age more than likely visit the site though.

College is school.

1: an organization that provides instruction: as a: an institution for the teaching of children b: college, university c (1): a group of scholars and teachers pursuing knowledge together that with similar groups constituted a medieval university (2): one of the four faculties of a medieval university (3): an institution for specialized higher education often associated with a university <the school of engineering> d: an establishment offering specialized instruction

btw if anyone picks grade school or preschool, I'm gonna coppa ban them 8)

Grade school is from 1st-8th, so you could be 13 and in Grade School (middle-school=grade school)

If college is to be classed as "school", then University should be included too, if the definition is to be an institution where people are taught. Not fair to exclude those people at uni!

I generally imagine school to end at High School. Once you've left High School... anything you do from there isn't "school". Yes, definitions may say otherwise, but it's just a mindset I have. :p

Listen, I remember when 7th graders at my school were in high school. My sister had a sixth grade graduation because she graduated from grade school.

There's no solid definition. Grades of elementary, middle, and high schools can vary by state/county, not to mention across the globe.

Yeah, Americans have a different school system from you people in England/Wales/Ireland. Just like we have a different school system from all of you!

They built a new high school when I was in 3rd grade and converted the then-high school into a 'middle grades'. They have also since added a junior high.

grade school was brought into meaning because schools did not have grades. They had readers and you just did whatever you'd learned and kept up. As they got bigger and had more students to manage, the schools were divided up into grades so that everyone went at the same rate. thus, a 'grade school'.

If you'd like, I can add 'middle school' and 'elementary' and 'junior high' to your poll.

In Texas, y'all, there are 3 levels of education not including college y'all. There's elementary school, y'all, which covers grades 1-5 (sometimes 6th), middle school (or junior high) which covers grades 6 or 7 through grades 8 or 9, and High School which covers grades 9 or 10 through 12, y'all. Y'all, in my district, elementary school is grades 1-5, middle school is 6-8, and high school 9-12, y'all. I'm in my final year of middle school, y'all, which is 8th grade, y'all here?

I was confused by the poll! I saw middle school, junior high, then high school and picked high school xD

I'm an 11th grader...wherever that goes....YOUR POLL CONFUSES ME.

My school district is weird. We have the Early Childhood Center for Kindergarten and Pre-K, then the Primary School, then the Elementary School, then the Intermediate School, then the Junior High, then the High School :p

I don't know which to select, as the only option close to were I am is High school (college) though it's incorrect, as they're both separate things over here. I finish school in two weeks, I start my GCSEs in a month (OH MY GOD NOO ;__; ) and I start COLLEGE next year. College is not University, College is college! University is after College, pfft :p

Here in Scotland you can go to either College or University. xD There's no need to go to both, but you can go to both, if you so wish. Or neither, if that's what you want.

This topic is evilly confusing because of all the differing school systems in place throughout the world.

I have a year and a have left at my University/College. In fact I actually missed an 8am final exam today that I was freaking out about. Nothing like that has ever happened to me before. Luckily I was able to contact my professor and he's letting me makeup the exam tomorrow at 10am, woo!

the 'who picked what' poll options are largely incorrect because I edited the poll to have the levels of schooling in chronological order. Therefore, I seem to have claimed to be in junior high right now xD

I am finished with primary and secondary education. I am very happy to be finished with school in all forms because, honestly, I hate those types of learning environments.
