Where is this gambit!?

So I've been playing for a while (about 50 hours) and I'm in Archades. The gambit merchants still won't sell Ally: status = KO or Ally: status = Blind. How much longer until they start selling them? Are there specific chests that I'll have to farm from to get these?

Also, what level were you guys at when you faced the final bosses? Or maybe I should rephrase that...what level seems like a good level to be at for the final bosses? I'm currently at levels 44-48, though I of course still have some game to get through. :P

The Ally: Status = KO and Ally: Status = Blind gambits are available at Balfonheim Port for 50 Gil.

I think level 50 is adequate for regular gameplay.

Now special marks and super bosses are a whole other ball of wax: level up as much as possible for them.

level to 70 for easy goings! :D good luck!

if you want a challenging final boss then level 55-60 is okay.i was around 65 and he was pretty easy.

The official guide says 50-55. I was around that level, and I found it to be perfect for my enjoyment: Not too easy, yet not darn hard either. If you level to 65-70, you take away all the challenge that is left for the rest of the game (storywise, that is).

My entire party was a little over level 50 by the end of the game. I leveled all of my characters at the same pace, so I was literally fighting with all six characters at the time of the final battle. I would suggest that your levels be higher than that if you only use three of the six available playable characters.
