So this is kind of an announcment/thread. In about 6 days, I will no longer be able to get on EoFF everyday. :( Probably only about once a week. I feel like I'm being led to my execution. :whimper:

Here is the discussion topic:
1) Do you notice when people randomly leave EoFF?
2) Do you care when people leave EoFF?

1) Do you notice when people randomly leave EoFF?
Not until they've been absent for a while and I think, "Hey, I haven't seen any posts from so-and-so in a while."

2) Do you care when people leave EoFF?
If they're someone that adds something of value to the community I do.

Yeah, only when they're gone for long periods of time like Christmas and Jiro.

I disappear for weeks on end every so often, but I doubt anyone misses me. And I guess that answers the first question, I don't pay attention to those things much. And it depends on who leaves for me to care.

Aww, RSL :(

I do miss people once I remember that they're not around anymore.

1. After a while if I come across a post of theirs and say "huh, haven't seen them awhile." But it usually is for people I actually pay attention to.

2. Meh, not really. It is teh internets after all.

What's with all these sad "Member's that were" threads all of a sudden?

Oh and yes for the record of both counts.

I only care when people make thinly-veiled 'I'm Leaving' threads

no one notices when i bail. it really adds to the "no one loves me factor." but on the OP, the only one i notice is Renmiri, and as for caring, not really. I only notice renmiri cause i talk to her on a diff forum. sad but true. no one will remember you duckie, sorry, just as no one would notice f i left. or most of the people on the forum who arent admins.;_;

You obviously haven't read the "Last Words" thread by Unne then have you? It mostly contains last words of members, not past staff.

I notice if it's somebody I saw a lot of before they decided to stop posting. I care if it was somebody I talked to/liked. :jess:

pretty sure i have no idea that this existed, let alone if i have read it.

AND, not everyone gets a heros sendaway.

but thats beside the point. The simple truth is, only now that i have sat down and thought bout it do i realize how many people have disappered. its sad, but true. in a forum this ize, its very easy to not notice when somone slips away.

And then here is blue harest
I'll remember her... you give me hope for humanity. thank you:love:

I don't usually notice. Unless it's someone that I really dislike who got banned. Then, I laugh. :D Well, I also notice when someone I think is really cool is missing. Then I miss them and get sad. :( The vast majority of the forum doesn't fall into either of those categorys, though.

(Realizing that some people actually missed me during my last hiatus was kind of touching.)

Stop being so emo Rand. :p

I'd care, cause then there wouldn't be any good RP's out there.

I suck at that game where you memorize objects then someone puts a blanket over and removes an object and you have to guess which one.

In other words, I don't notice people leaving until they come back.

It depends on the member(s) leaving.

Ouch!

There's quite a few people who I wish would leave.

Er... what was this about again?

I sometimes remember people who leave. And there are a few people who I would care about leaving.
