I don't think it has been exactly dismissed because we can't ignore the fact that there are certain things that may be plausible to support the theory, but then again, there are also certain things that may make the theory invalid. Anyway, it's mainly up to you whether to believe it or not, just don't let non-believers get in your way. I think the reason why people don't want to talk about R=U anymore is because that it can cause thier minds to hemorrhage ;) Just joking.

Sorry, guys, I have been inactive for a while. I've been busy with playing WoW (raiding the end-game content is hella fun) and finishing my assignments for my college. Hopefully soon, I'll get back to the FF8 business!
