Tommy was the best, and has also returned repeatedly throughout the series. During Wild Force, there was a 15th anniversary episode with every former Red Ranger, it was pretty cool. They brought him back as the Black Ranger for Dino Thunder, which pissed me off, he still could have been the Red Zeo Ranger, but he wasn't, it was stupid.

He was by far the best Power Ranger. Why? Let's look at his track record:


He dated Kimberly.

He dated the other Pink Ranger. Kat?

He was the Green Ranger.

He was the White Ranger.

He led the Power Rangers as the White Ranger, totally stealing the show from the Red Ranger.

He led the Power Rangers as the Red Ranger, totally blowing my mind as Zeo Red.

His hair was beautiful until he cut it.

He single handedly brought back all of the Red Rangers for one super cool, ultimate ass kicking thing.

He became the Black Ranger and had a cool dinosaur stick.

He was a professor of something.

He has the Dragon Zord and dragons are the best.

He had the White Tiger Zord which is the second best.

So the bird thing wasn't the coolest ever, but if it wasn't for him, that Zord wouldn't have had a been able to fly.

As for my favourite, hmm when I was a kid I fancied Kimberly the pink ranger so much it's quite sad. I got too old to watch Power Rangers after the first season, I prefer my martial arts fights to look a lot more realistic than that.

That was probably a rumor started by a Billy fanboy who got mad because Jason was the gold ranger in Zeo.

If you remember, it was originally supposed to be Billy that was the Gold Ranger, but the suit was too powerful for him, or something like that.

I always used to play her when I was really little, and my BFF4EVA at that time used to play the pink one. We didn't really pay any attention to keeping them in canon though, so it was basically us as the pink and yellow ranger. Good times.
