It is now time for the obligatory Personality test thread!!!!! Clickity Clickity! (mypersonality.info). And Test numero Two!!!! (http://www.personaldna.com/report.php?k=HiByUXWOdNFJlVf-DE-AAACA-7955)

Ok, maybe not. However, I laughed when I saw my results. See, I generally tell people they should not go to the extremes in most instances. However, this test has some extreme results! My personality is not balanced in the least.

Hmm.. I do wonder if it is an accurate view. I took the test several different times(questions are poor so it is hard to answer accurately), but it came up with the same general feel each time. Highly introverted, highly intuitive, a thinker(always 2/3 or more thinking 1/3 or less feeling), and Judging/Perceiving were always the most balanced(meaning I had the same personality type each time, even if percents differed).

that's exactly what i got too.

INFPs are introspective, private, creative and highly idealistic individuals that have a constant desire to be on a meaningful path. They are driven by their values and seek peace. Empathetic and compassionate, they want to help others and humanity as a whole. INFPs are imaginitive, artistic and often have a talent for language and writing. They can also be described as easygoing, selfless, guarded, adaptable, patient and loyal.

140 and over - Genius or near genius
120-140 - Very superior intelligence
110-120 - Superior intelligence
90-110 - Normal or average intelligence
80-90 - Dullness
70-80 - Borderline deficiency
Below 70 - Definite feeble-mindedness

I've never taken an actual IQ test, but every internet test puts me between 125 and 130. The one Smitten linked said my IQ was 127.

Is it bad if I got bored after the first 15 questions on the IQ test and then just randomly guessed on the others to finish as fast as I could? Basically I only skimmed each question in about 1.5 seconds and then picked the first answer that came to mind.

My IQ is 136 (http://www.free-iqtest.net) - Free-IQTest.net - Free IQ Test (http://www.free-iqtest.net)

Maybe I should actually take the test seriously..... Awarding bonuses for finishing under time likely completely skewed the results.

Oh I like the DNA test, it was fun!

You are a Concerned Analyst.

#

Your attention to detail, confidence, sense of order, and focus on functionality combine to make you an ANALYST.
#

You are very curious about how things work, delving into the mechanics behind things.
#

Along those lines, how well something works is usually more important to you than what it looks like.
#

You find beauty and wonder mainly in concrete, functional, earthly things.
#

You are very aware of your own abilities, and you believe that you will find the best way of doing things.
#

Accordingly, problems do not intimidate you, as you believe in yourself.
#

You trust yourself to find solutions within the boundaries of your knowledge.
#

You don't spend a lot of time imagining how things could be different—you're well-grounded in the here-and-now.
#

It is important for you to follow a routine, and you prefer the familiar to the unknown.
#

Your independent streak allows you to make decisions efficiently and to trust your instincts
#

You much prefer to have time to plan for things, feeling better with a schedule than with keeping plans up in the air until the last minute. Your decisions are well thought out, and you're not the least bit impulsive.
#

You do your own thing when it comes to clothing, guided more by practical concerns than by other people's notions of style.
#

You tend to believe that things happen for a reason, and that not everything is under our control.

#

Your understanding of others' emotions, your sense of right and wrong, and your skeptical nature make you CONCERNED.
#

Your observations of your environment, in concert with your clearly defined worldview, leads you to be aware of the feelings of others.
#

Because you can read people well, and because you can understand their feelings, you are often bothered by others' insensitive behavior.
#

While you appreciate others' emotional nature, you don't think their emotional concerns should take precedence over their obligations to society.
#

You prefer to be in smaller groups, as big groups can occasionally get out of hand.
#

Order and structure are somewhat important to you—you believe that people's feelings are better protected when others are respectful and follow certain societal guidelines.
#

You tend to share your feelings with a few individuals who are close with you, but otherwise you are a somewhat private person.

"ISFJs are characterized above all by their desire to serve others, their "need to be needed." In extreme cases, this need is so strong that standard give-and-take relationships are deeply unsatisfying to them; however, most ISFJs find more than enough with which to occupy themselves within the framework of a normal life."
- ISFJ Profile (TypeLogic)

"modest, not confrontational, easily hurt, observer, prone to crying, not spontaneous"
- Jung Type Descriptions (ISFJ) (similarminds.com)

"ISFJs have a rich inner world that is not usually obvious to observers. They constantly take in information about people and situations that is personally important to them, and store it away. This tremendous store of information is usually startlingly accurate, because the ISFJ has an exceptional memory about things that are important to their value systems. It would not be uncommon for the ISFJ to remember a particular facial expression or conversation in precise detail years after..."
- Portrait of an ISFJ (The Personality Page)

"The primary desire of the Protector SJ is to be of service to others, but here "service" means not so much furnishing others with the necessities of life, as guarding others against life's pitfalls and perils, that is, seeing to their safety and security."
- The Portrait of the Protector Guardian (iSfJ) (Keirsey)

"At work, ISFJs contribute loyal, sympathetic, consistent, and considerate service to others. They are know for their kindness and for their willingness to go to any length to help those in need. They take the practical needs of people into account when they do their work, and their strong follow-through skills allow them to carry out organizational goals. They do at least what is expected to them and oftentimes more, without attracting attention to themselves. They are painstaking and responsible with detail and routine, and feel it is important to have the right things in the right places at the right times."
