If he flips innocent, I could also be an innocent who is making a mistake. If he flips scum, I could also be a scum who is throwing a scum mate under the bus. If you lynch him, lynch him because you think he's scummy. The only time you should ever "info-lynch" is if there is a cop claim and I'll tell you now, I aint the cop.

I do think he is scummy, and again, I implore you to look at my reasoning for thinking so than just thinking "This will resolve this argument nicely! *VOTE*". If you think we're making a mistake, tell us.

He lied about being a Day Cop, and got a Vanilla Town killed. The Mafia would know he would be today's lynch, so they didn't bother killing him last night, so lynching him would probably play into their hands.

Anyway, on to mafia discussion. I guess I should have been more clear. Luke isn't like a super info lynch, but rather it would influence me personally, and that definitely doesn't hold true for everyone. Maybe that is flawed. I'm also more confused because Jean and Luke have warmed up to each other, so that argument hardly holds water.

What I'm a little confused is how easily everyone is biting into the I'm a newbie argument. I suppose he hasn't given us enough proof either way as to his position, so a bit contrary to what I posted last time perhaps it would be a good idea to lynch Hotti because there are reasons to believe he was scum, much more so than anyone else, including Luke, and it would not be good to guess/kill another townie.

At the same time, in breakfast mafia Waffles was incoherent and gone the first day, even though he was on the town side.

But I guess there probably isn't a role that says "try to contradict yourself a bit and make most people dislike you." For now I'll take my vote back, withhold it for a while, and try to make a decision later since I now have time to think this over! Hooray!

I'm still sifting through everything. But here's a few thoughts.

So far I think Hotti needs to go. I still have the suspicions of him being a Jester, but I think more and more it might not be the case. I can't quite figure him out and would like for him to be dead and finally know the truth. If he's town, he's not helping us, if he's scum then it's a victory for us. If he's something else, then we at least know what we're dealing with.

I'll be voting Hotti when the day is closer to being done (or I go to sleep, which ever comes first).

For example: Let's say we have an Insane Cop, who doesn't know he's insane. He could investigate himself overnight, and come up with a verdict. If that verdict comes up guilty, and he knows he's Town, he'll know he's either Paranoid or Insane.

Also, a Cop can gauge his investigations against the lynches/deaths. If he investigated someone, came back with a guilty verdict, and then they die and turn out to be innocent, then he'll know he's not a regular Cop.

That theory makes the game unbalanced. The point of the insane cop is to hurt the town until sanity is found. Your theory takes that element away. So I don't think that happened.

I thought that was a great idea, and encouraged people to vote for her. I never suspected her, and originally endoresed her. She was a sacrifice. She was lynched and revealed to be Town. Sorry.

Day 2: We basically all knew Hotti was going down, and spent the day talking about inactives, Luke, and other stuff I cba to look up. Hotti was lynched, and he was Town. Bad Town, so it was okay.

Let's go under an assumption that Hotti had a Night 0 Investigation as Godot brought up. Then we know Hotti would have to have investigated Mia and find her guilty (which we know is wrong, but plays into his insane cop role) then the first night he investigated Godot and found him innocent (which we know is false because he was insane). Even knowing who Hotti was I don't see him having the ability to know he was insane or not.

As of now I believe Godot is scum. I'm not buying the doctor claim.

I don't really know how to prove myself to you all. I am the Doctor.

Director Hotti was a :skull::skull::skull::skull:ed up player. He was insane! What more can we expect other than jumbled investigations. It doesn't make sense to me either why he suddenly decided I was innocent on Day 2.

Also, I'm feeling like I'm finally getting better at this game and thus can positively impact it somewhat for the town. After reading through this post I'm hesitant to reply because my name hasn't been brought up (well, once) in the inactive discussion, and now here I am again! :)

Anyway, it looks like this is pretty much going to be my playstyle this game, though it's the weekend tomorrow, so maybe it'll change a bit.

Now that I've sifted through everything again, here's what struck up my brain:

-Godot is a bit suspicious. I haven't decided if his doctor claim is suspicious. It sure seems to work on taking the blame off him, however. I know the doctor is important, but if you all start suspecting me and I call "doctor" does that let me off the hook? I think that there is reason enough to keep him around, however, and it would be silly to lynch him today. Whoever said he could be a serial killer makes some sense to me, but there's nothing to act on it about. The whole "talking about a role would a newb mistake" seems like a silly veteran mistake, but as I said earlier, there's no reason to get rid of him now. I agree with Godot: we should verify his identity, and if he IS the doctor, he can protect himself.

-As far as serial killers go, as of right now I think that's probably the best explanation to the two kills, but then I'd like to know what happened the first night.

-My eyes on leaning a bit towards Tigre because he's still rather quick to go on the offensive. I'll be keeping a close watch on you.

-It would seem both Plum and Bikini have come under fire as inactives. This might be the way to go today, but how much information will that give us? On the other hand, if we get a mafia, we get a mafia. They are another two people who are in my spotlight.

-Lastly, this has nothing to do with innocence of guilt, but what happened to Jean? I haven't seen nearly enough love in day 3 (at least when compared to yesterday. ;))

Question for da Judge, just a curiosity thing more than anything else: would a Godfather (who comes up as innocent for a normal Cop) come up as innocent or guilty for an Insane Cop?
