Last night there was no kill, when the night before there were two. I thought something involving my own role (revealing it will not resolve this situation fyi) might have caused this. Apparently others beg to differ.

What must the mafia have thought? Perhaps they, having read my post, did indeed target me and thought it was something to do with my role as I did. Thus lessening the chances of the existance of a roleblocker? Possibly. But still.

If Will is mafia, he is the godfather. To me, Lamimoir's (CAN'T SPELL) claim that he is innocent isn't anything. We relied too heavily on cops before and we got burned for it hard. I've always hated a reliance on them when things can often go wrong with millers, godfathers, sanity, etc. and you can figure things out for yourself if you want to.

Why would a Godfather stick himself out just to get a townie lynched? He wouldn't; Plum is not popular with the town anyway after the debacle of yesterday. Based on this, if he is scum, assume Plum is too and he is distancing. But-

Will has been on Plum since Day 2. Admittedly he's been a bit wishy washy between Plum and others, but as things were going well for the mafia, I don't know why he'd be all over Plum's case if they were on the same team so early.

And why not claim something more powerful which will give him more credibility when Plum dies? In fact, Roleblocker is a role with a margin for error. You can say it was just coincidence that there were no night kills and that Plum was mafia. You can't with cop/tracker. Yeah evidently with one cop it's hard, but tracker is feasible I think.

Will claims after a couple of us found him to be a bit odd. Interesting enough I guess, trying to save himself as the important role of godfather and regain credibility?

The purple/green thing is dodgy! It makes his claim - which, if he is telling the truth, should never have been made in the first place because of how inconclusive it all is - less valid and less believable.

And so Emma. If Emma is scum, why lie about being a roleblocker? You're sacrificing yourself just to get a roleblocker killed? This makes less sense to me than any situation invovling Will wanting Emma lynched.

There cannot be two roleblockers, can there? Will's claim does not seem genuine, but he does not seem to be acting like a mafia - Lamiroir's cop claim backs him up. Emma has no reason for acting this way either. So-

Here's the thing. I doubt the mods would put two insane cops in, and I doubt that I would be a naive cop either, seeing as how one of the mods has told me on multiple occasions that he/she does not like naive cops. I'm going to assume, for the moment, that I am a normal, sane cop.

Yes, I was intentionally staying low. And I was intentionally typing like an idiot. Staying low suited me because it made me just suspicious enough so that I was being mentioned and kept on the suspicion list, but not enough so that people voted for me. Being a suspect would guarantee that I didn't die at night. I said yesterday I would be more active today because I planned on coming out today anyway, but after Godot's death I thought I would potentially hold off another day, seeing as how I kinda needed him. I also knew Jean would get super paranoid and make way too much out of my posts as soon as he knew who I was, and that it was bad if any mafia could figure out who I was.

Now, here's the confusing part. Will's purple - hmm. Ema's coming out to claim roleblocker - that puts suspicion on Will. ...But I investigated Will. I don't see why he would claim roleblocker if he wasn't, and I don't see even more why Ema would claim roleblocker if she actually wasn't.

Night 1: Jean Armstrong. I invesigated him because I noticed right away who played his character, and I wanted this person either out of my way or out of my suspicions ASAP.
Night 2: Will Powers. I think some of his posts brought up some suspicions. I also saw him as a lay-lower who could potentially be intelligent. I didn't investigate Godot because I was gullible and actually believed Demon Dude. Hell, he was a cop - how the heck am I supposed to guess that he didn't investigate <i>anyone</i>? Fail as hell! Yeah, I figured an investigation on Godot would be a wasted one at that point.
Night 3: Apollo Justice. I was having a hard time deciding between Apollo Justice, Pheonix Wright, and Damon Gant. Pheonix made himself slightly more of a presence than Apollo, and I figured that if Apollo did indeed turn out to be innocent, I would have a stronger case against Damon Gant. Whereas, if Damon turned out to be innocent, I would really have no idea where to go next.

I tried to avoid investigating people that already had a lot of suspicion placed on them due to the possibility of a mafia framer. The judge wouldn't give me my results before the night was over due to "outside factors," and what those are, your guess is as good as mine. It could have just been the roleblocker(s?), or there can be other factors as well.

Now, could any of these people I investigated be the godfather? Sure. Could they have been recruited last night? Sure. But I was willing to trust my investigations for the moment.

...But this double roleblocker thing is bloody confusing me. Could there be two roleblockers? Could be, but seems unlikely.

Now, I do believe there's another doctor or protective role in this game. With 2 cops and 25 people, I seriously would not be surprised if there was a white mage/another doctor of some sort/etc. So, doctor? Hi.

Night roles, seeing as I guess we can now put some input into it. Roleblocker wannabes...well, if you think the other one is scum, I guess that is a very good place to aim your roleblock. Could be that the other one is a prostitute, although I still like the idea that Will is the lyncher, but we can't be certain.

Cop, well, there is someone I would like investigated so badly but I cannot name names for fear of Mafia Framers. It isn't Edgworth or anyone in the fore of this little drama. Maybe if you thin k you can realise who I mean but even if you do figure it out, it's up to you what choice you make.

As for protection, yeah, get the cop's back someone. I think my own MYSTERY ROLE OMG will see me through for a while yet. And no, having a MYSTERY ROLE is not suspicious. You don't need to know what my role is, or speculate as to it unless you are scum. I'm not using it as proof I'm innocent or proof that you should lynch someone. My actions are townie as hell and if you think otherwise, then well, I am not going to mince words, you are stupid.

We lost a cop AND a faith healer. We need to be more careful then ever since we've lost so many power roles. :(

We got roleblocker left, and perhaps 1 or 2 more minor ones, but we've lost our best ones (doctor and cop). I'm still split on Will and Ema as each one still seems suspicious to me. Although I think we can say it's safe if we don't vote one of them off today and continue to look into who is the real one and who is an imposter. Namely because the mafia can't kill the real one yet. If the mafia kills the true role blocker then we will know instantly who is the fake and will lynch them. Although there is a small possiblity that they are both telling the truth......but I find that chance 1% at best. It's just too convenient they both targeted Plum. However with most certainty I can say it's safe to leave them be while we scrutinize them, we don't want to lose another power role. Sooner or later the impostor will slip up.

So let's continue that discussion but I think we should go over our other suspects.

One that bothers me....Wesley. He just slipped out a role claim about being Vanilla Townie. I didn't have too high of suspicions against him before, but when he said that it bothers me greatly. In the Classic Gaming mafia, DK did the same thing and we learned he was telling the truth. However now we have a repeat of the same situation. Perhaps a mafia trying to repeat the same scenario from last game and use it to shed any suspicion. I'll continue to look over Wesley's posts to see what I can find out. But that was the big red flag for me.

If the two who claimed roleblocker each said a different color, it could be the difference between the liar and the one telling the truth. The only problem is, we have NO way of being able to tell what the true color is. Now for Will.

Will first claimed to be a role blocker and wasn't under any scrutiny, in fact he did it to support his reason for voting Plum. To me this sounds like a terrible mafia ploy, so with that in mind I learn more towards him being town in that notion. In addition the confirmed Cop investigated him and got innocent. Meaning he is either telling the truth or is the Godfather.


The Godfather putting himself out in this kind of position is highly unlikely.

Why would such a powerful Mafia role stick his neck out like this, when there really isn't a need?

He would have to have some kind of contingency plan to keep himself safe, and banking on a Cop having investigated him is a horribly flimsly plan if you ask me.

Bikini makes a good point here. If Will is the Godfather why put on such a huge risk on one of the strongest roles the mafia has? With that in mind the idea of Will being innocent seems much more plausible to me. Because other wise that means the mafia had their Godfather step out and roleclaim when he wasn't up for a lynching or heavy suspicion. The plan is too insane and hard to pull off I believe for any mafia without some really good back up.

The only things bugging me about Will however are as follows.


I think the roleblocker got the right person and we either have some bulletproofs or we have more protective roles.

He's either scum trying to set up for the role claim or telling the truth trying to hint at a role blocker. Personally I think a set up sounds more plausible. Psy does it all the time as mafia.

What is it now, a coin flip situation between Will and Ema to determine which of them is telling the truth? And a suspicion of Plum, and all other inactives because they can get away with being inactive and not being killed?

I don't know what to think anymore. My last two top suspects (Godot and Luke) turned out innocent. My scholarly instincts have failed me. We're down 9 Townies, a number of whom we thought were scum (and one who was insane, probably our only useful lynch).

Here's what I think. Plum Kitaki is a Serial Killer, or some variant that keeps killing off Townies. Ema Skye, Damon Gant, and Furio Tigre are scum. This depends on me believing Will Powers and not Ema. Gant raised suspicion when his new player came in and said "oh don't suspect me guize the other guy played scummily". And Furio? He's had a scum vibe around him for a while.

Then again, <i>I could be very very wrong</i>. I'm going with my gut here. However, I still like the idea of voting off inactives. Ema Skye has been rather inactive, as evidenced by the post count in comparison to Will Powers.

The last two times I trusted my gut, I was wrong, despite all the evidence pointing to Godot and Luke Atmey. However, the evidence against Godot was Director Hotti's innocence claim, and the fact that he posted his roleclaim of doctor in green as opposed to yellow, and a few missteps while under interrogation. And Luke wasn't doing as much as he probably could have to help the town, and that was for newbie reasons. Why should I trust my gut? There's a bit more conclusive evidence on Ema, or so I think. I'm going to vote for Ema here, but then I'm going to go check past votecounts to see who voted for confirmed innocents (not like there'll be that much to help us there, as everyone has been confirmed innocent so far). We're idiots! Let's get out of this slump, Town!

What usually happens should not be conclusive evidence of what happens in this game. All Mafia games I've seen have been unique. The mods can really do whatever the hell they want.

Vanilla Townies had better not be inactive, <i>now more than ever</i>. Yeah, we've lost a lot of power roles, but there's still a (though admittedly small) chance we can pull this out with our collective mindset. If we could only figure out who was Mafia.

Good point, Valant. Though I don't think that should be conclusive evidence that Miles is completely guilty, though we should indeed put a watch on him. Jean had many other reasons to be a target. He was obviously Psychotic, a renowned Mafia player, and he hinted numerous times to having a power role. Two dangerous things for a Mafia to have to deal with, I'd wager. Someone got rid of him probably for those reasons.

Then again, this brings up the possibility that Miles could have a separate killing role, and was a vengeful man. Who knows? It's worth speculating about.

Now Jean died, this means the mafia/serial killer HAD TO HAVE TARGETTED ME. So I've done some thinking, yesterday, I pressed heavily against Will. I was the only one who appeared really believed he could be innocent from a Cop. On top of that, I had pressed Will hard for the previous sections of the game! So they tried to off me, but hit Jean instead.

I think Will is the Godfather, since I implied that I thought he was several times yesterday, the Mafia wanted me gone, so the rest of the town could believe the cop!

As far as I'm concerned Miles is the most suspicious right now although I still have my eyes on Will. I think Miles is attempting to protect Will but is failing miserably. Miles is hectically going after various people such as Ema, Will, myself, Wesley and now Dick. While seemingly strategically avoiding others which is a no no. Because as far as I'm concerned Furio, Tracy, Plum, Phoenix, Maya and Bikini are not off the chopping block. Now I've been theorizing that it could because they are his fellow scum mates, but that would mean way too many mafia and they'd be way too overpowered.

Plus, I am still inclined to believe that Will is lying. Another thing that struck me as suspicious is how Miles attacks me for coming up with some logic to why I think Will is scum yet quickly denounces it as stupid and ignores the various other reasons I gave for him being scum and instead fussing about the color thing. Perhaps, to to divert attention away from Will and more on to me. But, it backfired and is now directing that attention to him and Will even more.

So he tries to divert attention away from him again by going after Dick who claims Hider. Now tbh, I am not entirely buying Dick's role claim but Dick hasn't struck me as scum as much as Miles and Will do. Also this:


The reason I find Valant so suspicious is his relentlessness to throw out idiotic proof as reason for scummy activity. I think Miles could be trying to pull a Plum. "Nobody likes me you deserve to lose!" to make people feel sorry for him and not vote for him.

Miles has kept his head down most of the game, acting only when he has needed to. Take Day One. Originally he wanted a vote for Phoenix because of video game reasons, but then when a tie-breaker was needed, he popped up out of nowhere and did it, perhaps to speed up the scum's night kill. Day

Day two, he flip flops about Hotti, offering various theories without really offering too much discussion about them. Day Three, acts unsure about Godot one way or the other instead of wanting to take a fixed position. Seriously this post is wtf.
I still have a lot more to think about. I'm almost swayed to not vote for Godot today, because if he is scum and he posts more, he'll only destroy his team mates in the end by giving us enough info to track back to them. But honestly I don't trust Godot as far as I can throw him.
Not voting for a scum so that they can survive and out their team mates, and then informing them of this plan? Really? what. He then voted for Phoenix for inactivity (a safe vote because Phoenix was not in danger of being lynched) so as not to be a part of the Godot lynch.

As far as who I'm suspecting now, Luke has some suspicion in my eye, but not the most. Lamiroir seems one of the strangest to me at the moment as many have brought up, but I'll need to read over some more to get a better grasp. Plum is another one that I still find suspicious, I just didn't like how fast she gave up and just how quickly suspicion fell off of her. I'm still not quite sure what to think of her.Sticks out. As far as Will goes, I kind of believe him. Last night no kill, so that could mean several things, a recruit happened, a protector role did their job, or a role blocker blocked the right person And then when Emma claims he tries to undermine it a bit without going too far.

I don't think that means your the lying one, but I still find it a bit fishy.I don't know why the hell it is fishy to have blocked the same as Will seeing as Plum was the big noise that day. Trucy Wright and Phoenix Wright have both been playing very quiet and conservative games. Offering little deep analysis, saying inoffensive things, generally toeing the line and not wanting to stick out much. It seems like they've been waiting to see how everyone else reacts than reacting themselves.

Trucy's been talking a lot about being new and not knowing what to do. Maybe that's genuine, but I dunno, she's used it a lot and her scumbuddies could have encouraged her to play it up. Really, you play mafia by looking for little things that strike you as odd. When you see something, you look for other odd things that person has done, try to look for a motivation for them acting this way and present it to the rest of us.

She doesn't vote for anyone on Day One, Day Three, or Day Four. Seriously what the heck is that all about? Isn't this against the rules, Judge?

Phoenix on the other hand, has kept away from the lynches of Mia, Hotti (on Day 1 and Day 2), Godot, and Luke. He hasn't been on the deciding lynch once. Yeah yeah we shouldn't have a go at people for not lynching townies :p But to me it's more suspicious if you're always trying to avoid lynching the person who will actually get lynched. Today she's flip flopped on the Emma/Will issue, going with the way the wind is blowing.

Also someone interesting is Franziska von Karma, who seemed really intent on sucking up to Jean based on who he is. Trying to get the dreaded and fearsome (and overrated) Psychotic on side so he doesn't ruin your :skull::skull::skull::skull:, huh? :p

I believe I did mention this earlier, but I swapped because of the 2, one claimed cop, and one was a potential scum. The safest option was to pick to save the cop. Although in retrospect it would have been better to off Hotti no matter how illogical it was. If I did that then, then we wouldn't have gotten a claim against Godot and he wouldn't have died. Besides it would have been a bad move on scum's part to lynch someone there. It would draw too much attention. Though I guess not since people are only really starting to highly suspect me. :p

That's very easy. My thoughts with Godot were simply this. If he was telling the truth then we would kill our doctor. I figured if he were scum as per the "investigation" then he would sooner or later slip up and give us reason without a doubt of his being scum. I'm also angry. I don't spend my posts complaining about working, I start them by letting you know where I've been, and I think I've been somewhat helpful so far, even if it isn't a huge contribution. The last thing I did was tell you all not to vote Godot and he ended up dead. As a cop.

Maybe you can say there might not be two roleblockers, but when you think about it, if two is the maximum kill count, three kills have been stopped somehow.

The way I see it, if Will were mafia doing it, he would be trying to prove he was the role blocker and thus make it appear as if he were a confirmed townie. However the big fault in that plan would namely be it being a risk, and the fact that the mafia thus far haven't had to do it. Why do a risk when you already have a perfect victory ahead of you?

As far as Ema doing it, it could be mafia trying to get the role blocker and prove a mafia as a role blocker and thus confirmed townie in one fell swoop.

Although the Lyncher/Lynchee is starting to sound a bit more plausible. I'm still just nervous with how the voting has been going thus far. I just can't help but get this feeling in the back of my head that the mafia are just sitting back on this one again.

The Will thing is pretty much what I thought, although I do think there are better roles to confirm yourself with.

As for Emma, if she got Will lynched, it wouldn't prove her as a roleblocker - it would prove her as mafia for getting the real roleblocker lynched, because we'd see how Will flips. But honestly, why sacrifice yourself to take out the roleblocker? A cop, a doctor, sure, that could be worth it, but not a roleblocker of all things. Especially when roleblockers aren't likely to be protected at night. If you're that desperate for one to be killed, you could always wait until then.

For lyncher/lynchee...If I remember correctly, it's the lyncher's job to try and get the lynchee lynched, no matter what. The lynchee is supposed to prevent their own lynching.

This is plausible because Emma was totally rough on Will, and Will showed up as being innocent when investigated by Lamiroir.

What I think is going on:
She called out the same roll he did because she knew he was under scrutiny already, and it was the perfect opportunity to get people to vote to lynch him. If she called roleblocker too, because she wasn't as suspicious as he is, everyone would immediately turn to Will with questions. As soon as everyone began to fire questions, she quietly slipped away, and hasn't been back since. Will has, I believe.

It's just too obvious to me, now that I think about it.

For some reason, I can't vote until someone is clearly in the lead in and will definitely be lynched. Theoretically, it's extremely easy for me to vote, only my timing has been off. The days have usually ended before I get a chance to check in and see if someone is leading in the votes. It's no fault of the judges, they've even given me helpful 'pings' to tell me to check the thread, but a lot of the time I'm not around.

As for my personal thoughts. Generally, Will and Ema are both equally suspicious. However, if Gumshoe actually is a Hider, I think Will might have actually targetted Gumshoe when he was 'hiding' behind Jean. And with Lamiroir's innocent verdict of him, he could very well be the Godfather. For that reason, Will is more suspicious to me. Or Gumshoe, for the possible fabrication of his story as a mafia trying to get a townie killed. But I think if he was Mafia trying to get Will lynched...more people (his Mafia allies) would have supported Gumshoe's story.

This is my problem. There are certain roleclaims that are good for mafia, Certain ones that aren't.

Will's would be. He can be wrong, but if Plum turns out to be a SK then the town trusts him. Or if the mafia has a Janitor, Framer, or anything like that, then the mafia is still in control. Will's expression as "investigate me" also made me weary. Unfortunately our Cop fell for it.

Ema's doesn't because it throws her in a 50/50 chance. The mafia HAS to use a Janitor to save her. Why sacrifice yourself for a roleblocker? Better yet, since the Cop hadn't yet claimed, why claim as a roleblocker? Why not just claim as a cop or a tracker? Thats what I would've done.

If Ema was mafia, that claim makes no sense to make, they gain NOTHING.
