I'm curious about the way we eoffers use youtube.

Do you browse it all day long? Do you click anytime someone links something? Do you never use it? Why? why? why?

I typically mimize my youtube usage. When it came out, I was still on dialup (though not for very long), but even with dsl, I find myself unwilling to play videos. There's still a wait for some of them (or was before we moved up in the dsl bracket ;o), they make my laptop run really hot, and I'm really not that interested in looking up videos.

I do click some links, but not usually, and almost always only if I know it's something I would be interested in watching. I do surf on there sometimes, but not usually. I do add videos there.

I youtub about once or twice a week, usually. Sometimes I go on marathon youtubs for a few hours like I did yesterday watching Sesame Street clips from the 70s.

I like Sesame Street.

If I watch a movie from it, I usually use the PS3 cause the quality seems to be better. :love:

Before I got iTunes and an iPod, I used it to watch music videos. I even have a couple tunes I can't find on iTunes on my favourites. Now I only use it to view comic video game reviews, really.

I only use youtube to either:
1) listen to a song/watch a music video I like
2) look for clips of movies and stuff I like or to show somebody
3) when somebody links me to something funny on there.

I have it in the Firefox search bar, so I only go to Youtube when something I want to see pops into my head. Most often, I'll be talking to someone about music and look it up on Youtube so they can listen to it. I never just keep Youtube open or go browsing through random stuff. I don't really like Flash players very much.

2 years ago I spent a fair amount of time on YouTube. I have something like 32 videos with a total of 250,000+ views, but that's not very good by YouTube standards. :( I frequently watch stuff, but only if directed there by something else, like here or on Reddit.

My friend who lived down the hall was the kid who did "Daft Hands" and he left multiple times this year (The Ellen Show, Weezer music video) etc and I was a tad jealous. That's what YouTube can get you: EXPOSURE! If you're lucky...

Not a big fan of youtube. My internet connection is very slow (10Mbps :cry:) so, I feel like its a waste of precious time. I listen to some songs from movies like "Think of Me", "Phantom of the Opera" and some music videos, when I feel like it.

Never use it, don't click links, only use it if people are near the computer and navigate to it and I am just sitting there watching the videos that are crap that other people pretend are funny.
