I have always been intensely curious about FFII's Japan-onry novelization, so I would like to put a call out for information.

Every once in a while, like when I am discussing II on other forums, somebody who has read it pops in and drops tidbits of information. Then they just sort of dissapear and ignore my PMs. The most common things I hear about the novel's story is how it establishes the Emperor's name as Mateus and that Leila develops feelings for Firion. This makes me so very, very curious about how it fleshes out other story elements (Leon's plot comes immediately to mind).

So I post this thread in hopes of attracting someone who has read it.

Sorry I haven't read it but I searched on the internet and I found absolutely no information about it. Not even a cover. Maybe you can find something on the Japanese ebay.

Well, here's the cover. I was able to find that much.

I don't know if this is gonna help but there's this dude on gamespot who apparently owns it. Maybe you can ask him where he got it from. Lordfrostwolf's Profile - GameSpot (http://www.gamespot.com/users/Lordfrostwolf/)
