Restart just for the primers?

Did anyone restart their playthrough or replay sections of the game so that they wouldn't miss an Al Bhed primer? This game was the first time I honestly considered starting over when I realized that I had missed several of the primers. Usually it's not a big deal as you can grab stuff and see things on your next playthrough that you missed but I didn't like that I couldn't understand Rikku and company at the beginning of the game and I wasn't going to be left in the dark the second time through.

I collected most of them on my first and second playthrough. On my third one, I imported it to my new file and understood every word from the very beginning. :D

I thought there was a sphere that lets you load the albhed primers from another save file.

Unless thats what everyone is refering to when they say dictionary compiler, i have no idea what it was called.

I'm too lazy to translate everything in the game. I'd rather have the game do all of the work.

I got all the missing primers on my second play, since I resisted spoilers and walkthroughs the first time around.

I have so many different files in FFX that I think I have every single primer between the games.

I would have been upset to miss one but not enough to restart the whole game.

I just collect as many As I could throughout the game. So, I could make out basically most of the words, even if I was missing some.

I had a lot of experience with cryptograms, so I was translating the Al Bhed dialogue real time after 4 or 5 Primers. I then started a new game and played up until Tidus leaves the salvage ship. The rest of the dialogue I looked up (on gamefaqs I think) which has an Al Bhed dialogue file.
