Basically we're ditching usernotes in favor of a new feature called Public Messaging, which is like the same thing but directly on your profile page so it's less cumbersome to deal with... I think.

You'll still have usernotes, but they won't be called usernotes. And the old ones unfortunately are gonna be gone, so get to backin' up if you want to save them.

The profiles getting fixed sounds good. Losing the user notes is kinda sad, though. I have many nice notes in there, but I guess it's gonna be better with the new kind of messaging system? We'll just have to wait and see.

As I said in the Feedback thread, they were one of the greatest things to happen to this forum. They were a cool little feature that made EoFF unique rather than some bland generic board. I salute your contribution, user notes.
