There's the clique. And if you don't have the right persoanlity to draw from, you're just a face in the crowd. Graned this community isn't at all elitist about it as most are. In fact most everyone is rather open and accepting. The cliques just happen of their own accord though. So make your own and find some people :]

according to my profile I joined June 5th, 2005. Meaning I've been here a little over 3 years :p in that time I was active at first then dropped for quite a bit of time (until like...April or May 2006), met my friend Deadpool when I came back, and in June '06, met a boy...:heart: Been active since whenever it was I came back, with some periods of inactivity here and there.

I don't consistently talk to a single person from here. Since I've been working more hours, and making new friends at work and even female interests that I spend a lot of time with.... I don't really ever sit on the computer and talk to people. I know one of my best friends who lives oh so far away misses the fact that I never talk to her much anymore. Such is my life now however, and I much prefer being almost consistently busy to never having anything to do.

I grew up in a house in a cemetery where my dad was the groundskeeper and after hours caretaker which lended itself to my natural tendency to turtle myself behind the visage of a hermit.
