I still can't seem to pick up an osmose scroll. i'm fighting (or trying to anyway, they are rare) wizards in the collesium because I'm at the end of the game and can't go back to the cyclone or Palamecia. Is there a better way to get this scroll?

Nope, not at Mysidia.
