Okay, so...according to Wikipedia, the finale of Avatar will be aired on July 19th. I'm sad.

The last episode I saw was the Firebending Masters, so I don't think i've missed much...But what kind of things do you expect/hope to see in the finale!?

And if there's the possibilty of a spoiler, please use tags k?

DISCUSS.

As long as it stops people from making godawful AMVs on Youtube, I'm cool with it.

They need to advertise new Avatar better. The last episode I saw was Day of Black Sun. So does this mean no book 4?

so the southern raiders just aired. 5 Episodes left!
Katara Bloodbending! And this episode is pretty much backstory. Tomorrow is the ember island players, then Sozin's Comet!

according to a friend who spoke to the creators: There is a lot that they could just not fit in, including Iroh's jounrey into the spirit world.

Also I hope that Mai and Ty Lee show up. And Bumi is coming back!

I just watched it. That was awesome ending. Don't want to spoil anything for those in later time zones, but Azula has lost it (mentally I mean).

I never really watched Avatar because it seemed like a children's show. Then again, I've watched all of Sailor Moon multiple times, so who am I to talk?

That was epic. Simply an epic ending. I liked it when Azula commanded Lo and Lee to perform Agni-Kai, but they can't even bend. Also Bumi: Someone's missing Where's Momo? And when Bumi retook Omashu. And the second battle for Ba-Sing-Se and Ty Lee a Kyoshi warrior and everything else was so good!!!!! But there is so much more that can be written. Like Zuko searching for Ursa, and Aang possible restoring Airbending.

Also Lion Turtles are <3!!!!!

There is amazing bending all around, Jeong-jong uses firebending, from his feet as a jetpack

It heavily implied some kind of spin-off series for me. Left too many loose ends for me to believe they won't make another show set in the same universe, but not focusing on Aang.

As for the finale, it was everything I wanted it to be. Was glued to my seat the entire time.

There are plans for a live action movie.

OMFG. Just watched the finale online the other day! LOVED IT. In all honesty I believe it could've used a bit more fast-paced action in a few spots, but it was definitely satisfying!

I was angry that Katara didn't bloodbend on Azula during the Agni Kai though! I was like, "Katara, what are you doing!? Bloodbend that maniac! BLOODBEND HER!"

And I was a bit disappointed that Aang didn't initially kill off the Firelord/Phoenix King. But when he took away his firebending, I was happy!

It was so awesome, and Avatar has been one of the greatest cartoons of the 21st century.

Yeah, I kind of got that vibe too! Zuko asked the Firelord where his mother was, and the dramatic music played.

I wouldn't be that happy if it revolved around Zuko though. Despite being a central plot piece symbolizing spiritual growth and maturity, I just find him a bit unappealing. xD

Uggh, I know. Live action and directed by M. Night Shaymalan, a director who I have violently conflicting opinions on. I'm really not excited or interested for the movies. I'd really only be excited for more Avatar if they do a spinoff/sequel series.

I felt that this was a great episodic cartoon series and speaks volumes for the creativity and potential of Western animators and animation.
