Agreed.

I haven't ever been in a financial or ideal housing situation to have a pet. :( Though one summer, in (the British equivalent to) third grade I was entrusted with the school stick insects; a male and a female, but we didn't know until the female (the more active, wingless one) started laying eggs. They were small ones, no more than an inch or two long, and my teacher didn't expect them to survive the summer

I have three cats, differing ages, and one lab who had 9 babies about 3 weeks ago.

So I have 9 of what you have! Except younger!

Aww, that puppy is cute! I'm all jealous now!

I don't have any pets right now, but I used to have a dog. Sadly, he died a couple of years ago. Man, I loved that dog - still do.

Well I was going to bother your dog but then I saw he had a "DO NOT DISTURB" tag on his bed. Mind you, that never usually stops hotel staff.

In my house we have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 1 hamster.

One dog, Brandy (my dad's dog), is a German Shepherd/Collie/Chow mix, she's 15, cataracts on both eyes, almost completely deaf, arthritis everywhere, and just in bad shape =[ Had her since I was 2 going on 3 years old.

The other dog, Emmy (mom's dog), is half Rat Terrier and half Chihuahua, and she's really tiny. On Monday morning when my parents were at their camper, my dad decided to take Emmy to the dogs next door (two Siberian Huskies, one of which has a history of being aggressive) so they could all get to know each other. It didn't turn out so well. The aggressive one immediately began growling at her and she growled back, they got into a fight...My mom came out of the camper and screamed at my dad "WHAT THE smurf ARE YOU DOING?!" and he ran in and tried to grab Emmy but ended up getting bit by her enough that he now has an infected finger. Serves him right imo FOR BEING SO STUPID. Anyway, he got her out of there and her ear was ripped away from her head (not completely) so they ran her to the vet and got her stitches. She also had some puncture wounds from where she was bit but otherwise, she's perfectly healthy and has gotten used to the ridiculous lampshade thing around her head. She's gone back to playing with my cat already, so all's good.

My tabby cat named Cat. When we first got him, we thought he was a girl, so his name was Kat. After a few more weeks, it was a little obvious that he wasn't a girl...And his pink collar and pink carrier and pink EVERYTHING became a note of humour. He loved to hump slippers and try to smurf mom's dog a few times, unsuccessfully. He turned 2 on April 17th and he's definitely MY cat. He'll lay on my lap when I'm playing Final Fantasy 12, he'll let me hold him when I'm crying, and he loves to cuddle with me on my bed. When mom and dad and the kids go out of town every weekend, he follows me around and talks to me. Sometimes he'll even bring me back some mice from his nightly hunts :D He loves to play with those plastic rings you get on milk jugs and with strings. He has a hairball problem but hates taking his medicine...so I have to wipe it on his paw so he'll clean it off of him. He's the happiest cat I've ever met because all you have to do is say "Hi, Cat!" and he'll start purring and rolling around on his back so you can rub his chest or belly. I could go on and on about him xD

And last but not least, my little brother Christopher's hamster, Midnight. He's black with some white on him, pretty protective of his territory, and boxes you if you try to replace his stale food with fresh. If he's out of his cage, he'll let you hold him and everything but he hates being taken out of his cage.

Also, YOUR LAB PUPPY IS SO CUTE IMA SQUEEZE AND CUDDLE AND KISS~

Puppy picture 2. Please ignore the sofa as it is old and ugly and no longer in my house.

My puppy is actually like, six years old now. But she hasn't grown all that much, so I still consider her a puppy dog. She's barking right now and I wuvs her.

Also, everyone else with puppy dog pictures, your pets are so cute!

Hello bullypants! I have a staff doggie called Bullseye/Bully, he's just turned 2 years old and he is insane! He's very friendly and gets over-excited with new people (and people he knows, actually!), and he can do silly tricks like dance and hi-five. :jess:

I am very much a dog person. If I won the lottery I would get lots of doggies, or open like a rescue centre and look after the doggies who have been abandoned/hurt by evil people!

I have a kitty called Phoebe. I absolutely adore her, though she's got into the habit of lieing in the middle of the road, for some reason :jess:

Before I finished school, as I was the first up it was always me who gave her a morning feed and then she'd follow me back to my room, so when I finished school and didn't get up that early anymore she used to cry cry at my Mum to open all the doors for her and then she'd run upstairs and cry outside my door for my Mum to open it. She'd then curl up on my bed and fall asleep ^_^

..She doesn't do it anymore :(

i have 47 cats. no lie. but it's ok. i also have about 9 litterboxes and go through about 4 bags of cat food a day.
the cats have 1 of each :P
kidding. i really do have like 30-something cats but we're getting rid of them soon. most of them, anyway. i can't bring myself to get rid of some of the older ones. or the little baby ones. or the adult ones, who i've just grown so attached to. or...
well, honestly, i might not get rid of any of them. i think i'll just wait to go bankrupt and when i die and the cats start to starve they will eat my flesh and eventually each other and everything will work itself out. just like when everybody dies in 2012, except on a much smaller scale.
...
so, who wants cake?

Ashley has pictures of Ariel. I'll let her post them.

Before I moved in with Ashley we had a bunny in our house. I don't have any pictures of him, and he has passed away quite some time ago (was a very surreal moment for me and I'm not sure how it affected my brother whose pet it was). Prior to that, my roommate brought home a puppy (well, the puppy was probably like between 2-3 years old) who followed her home from downtown. I think she was a mutt -- a black lab with brown fur (somebody more versed in dog breeds could probably tell me / show me pics). She was pretty wild, but for a short time we managed to control her. We called her Izzy.

One time, while walking her, the leash broke and she ran away T_T -- we lost track of her for over a month. Apparently she ran all the way down the street to a grocery market and was picked up by the pound. Despite calling said pound, they never reported the dog to us. My roommate had to go to the pound herself, demand to see the dogs there, and finally got Izzy back. Yay.

I always walk Izzy with a chain. I'm that paranoid of dogs running away. I also make her sit whenever dogs or cars come by. Also, and this shows how thoughtless I can be, I walk her without a leash. xD one time while playing with Izzy in the back yard she ran all over the place and jumped over the fence o_O -- I had to jump over 2 or 3 back yards to get her back. Silly puppy.

I miss Izzy.

Kuroneko was running around with a black-and-white kitten that looked (maybe) about two-three months old earlier today. I'll have to find him and see if I can keep the kitten... then I'd officially have four cats, and still be feeding the stray Kuroneko =D
I'll have to take pictures of all of them sometime. I'll probably blow it off tomorrow =)
