*drumroll

Miss Venezuela.

But I'm not here to talk about her. Its about Miss USA. The contestant slipped, again. Last year the Miss USA contestant slipped and fell flat to her butt. What gives? The other contestants never slipped and fell. Is it just a coincidence or is the Miss USA spot now jinxed?

Walking is hard.

Walking? No. With heels in an incredibly uncomfrotable outfit in front of million and millions of people? Yes.

Beauty Pageant contestants should be used to walking in heels infront of millions and millions of people while wearing an uncomfortable outfit. It is what they do.

Yeah, and I'm an actor, every time I get on stage, I get nervous, no matter how many time I've done it.

These women are trying to show they are the most beautiful woman in the world, it's not exactly everyday stuff.

For people in Miss Universe, it pretty much is everyday stuff. It isn't like they all woke up one morning and decided they wanted to be in Miss Universe a week before it took place. They practiced doing everything they did at the competition and did it numerous other times for various other beauty pageants.

Also, just because you act, that doesn't mean you're an actor.

Walking is hard if you don't have any brains in you otherwise beautiful head.

Miss Universe makes me think of Donald Trump, so I try to avoid it when possible.

Its all an intricate plan you see, if they picked USA to win then the word biased would be yelled from all over. However if they never picked her to win then they would all say theyre just trying to please crowds instead of having a fair competition. So they need some way to have Miss USA to lose without arousing suspicion and as such they have her fall down and use that as an excuse.

Diabolical!

edit: Also alot of the miss universe contestants looked the same to me.

I thought, like, there was going to be something about hungry children in Africa, and, um, yeah...

OMFG. Miss Universe! :kaoclove:

My grandfather absolutely loves the Miss Universe, especially the swimsuit portion!

As for the tripping: I'd say it's just a coincedence really. I have to agree with Laddy, because, let's face it, we'd all be nervous if we were competing for one of the most coveted positions a model could ever be given. And last years Miss USA's dress got caught in her heels, so, it's not like it's a conspiracy...

Not all models are dumb, hon.

Um, no.

It's an international competition, with a diverse range of judges, so it's not like America is secretly calling the shots and switching the numbers behind the scenes or anything. And it's not like they've never won, considering statistically the USA is the best performer in the Miss Universe pageant since it's start in 1952.

If anyone's rigging the competition, you'd probably be better off blaming Hispanic/Latino countries, considering about 1/3 of the winners in the entire history of the competition have come from those countries, especially Venezuela & Brazil who always score highly.

Or they just might have great, beautiful women, maybe? :greenie:

You lazy!

You can't make a thread about a beauty contest winner without posting a picture. You expect us to go search for a picture ourselves? :twak:

There are better things in the world to worry about than becoming Miss Universe.
