Right, I really need help on this!

On the PSP version of SotN (In The Dracula X Chronicles), should it have the inverted castle?

The reason I am asking is because whenever I defeat Richter Belmont (Well, the green orb) while wearing the holy glasses, after the cutscene finishes, it comes up with the "Now Loading" screen, then my psp turns itself off!

Anyone else had this problem?

I haven't had that problem.

It should have the inverted castle, maybe it is a glitch on your game, your UMD is too dirty, or it is scratched.

I hope you can fix that problem. Good luck :).

How are you supposed to clean UMD's?

They are sooo small, plus they are in that weird plastic thing!

Haha... You guys

You don't defeat Richtor :D

Put on those one goggle thingies that let you see the truth (I think that's how it goes)

Its been so long. I'd tell you why. But that would ruin it :}

You didn't read my first post did you?

Anyways, just cleaned the UMD and the laser lense, and it still doesn't work!

Any recommendations on what to do?

Well... I didn't read -ALL- of it. But I did "read" it :( And failed

(Actually I just used the tool-tip before even coming into the thread and then just read the responses xD)

That that brings up a question. Do you get an ending if you DO defeat Richter?

I can't remember if it's a "cutscene" where it makes you run into the portal to warp to the upside-down castle. If it isn't, have you tried running back to the previous save spot and saving before warping?

Well, after the orb is destroyed, Shaft appears, after Shaft talks, movie scene where inverted castle appears. Then now loading screen, dead!

Remember that I am talking about the psp version

How's your battery life? Maybe loading is too much work for it right now

It was plugged in to the mains!

@Vyk: The game has 4 endings, if my memory serves well. Two beating Richter before and after getting the holy glasses, and two beating the inverted castle before and after 200%.

@Forbidden: Then or your game is corrupted or with a glitch, or your psp is loading a lot of things at the same time. Maybe you have used it for too many hours without rest. Even when connected to the main, it doesn't mean that the psp will not forced. Like any other instrument with memory RAM, the memory fills after some time or the processor starts to be forced to do a lot of tasks. If it is this, you need to reset it (turn it off completely, let it some minutes, an hour if possible, and turn it on). Make a coffee break during that reset, if that doesn't work, you'll be relaxed enough to search for another solution.

Has this happened to you with another game?

It hasn't happened with any other game.

Do you reckon it's my psp or my memory stick or what?

It hasn't happened with any other game.

Do you reckon it's my psp or my memory stick or what?I'm not completely sure. Does not is the memory stick, that's for sure. I think that it's the psp's RAM memory or the game itself, but I'm no specialist on this.

Hmmm, well it could actually be the game because the rest of it works until that point!

Plus, I tried that reset rest thing and it still shut down
