So I know there's a program or some such that allows you to extract youtube videos. However I'm unable to locate it and know very little on the whole process. So if anyone has some information or can point me in the right direction that would be much awesome.

If you use Firefox, DownloadHelper (http://www.downloadhelper.net/) is a great add-on. If you just want to rip a video or two, there are sites like Ripzor.com - YouTube & Google Video Ripper (http://ripzor.com), at which you enter the URL of the video and they provide the download.

Another helpful site is Media Converter (http://mediaconverter.org/). That one lets you download the audio from YouTube videos as mp3s. Only ten times per day, though.

Thanks for the help. Download helper is so awesome. Time to download videos before you tube deletes all the good ones again. :shifty:

My personal favorite is Vixy.net (http://Vixy.net). You can download any YouTube viddeo into just about anything I've ever needed--and no limit either. Sometimes the server might be down.
