Behind Lightning is a suitably-scaled Shiva cycle. Because the one thing we know about the game is that summoned monsters transform into vehicles. I'm going to use my editor-fu to get a recording of Peter Cullen saying, "Eidelons, transform and roll out!" Just you wait.

The Shiva cycle is an impressive piece of toy sculpture, scaled to be ridable by "Lightning," or perhaps "Mr. 33cm." It's detailed and intricate and I'm told it transforms Mospaeda-style into wearable armor or some such. Lots of colorful paint apps, too, a classy combination of blues and bronzes. Nice work all around. But...

...it's also basically porn. The bike is made of not one but two Shivas, sitting face to face and straddling one another. Dark blue Shiva (on the right) dislocates her legs and puts them around light blue Shiva (on the left). Light blue Shiva snuggles up and puts her legs between dark blue Shiva's, and tucks her hands under her chin so that her face and hands become a perch for the rider's groin. Meanwhile, dark blue Shiva is staring at the rider's chest -- presumably, that's Lightning's chest.

Suddenly, FFXIII is looking like the kind of thing that's gonna be difficult to explain to your loved ones.

"I swear to god, it's Rated T for Teen!"
"Save it for divorce court, pervert." (http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=8819885&publicUserId=5379721)

Topic: What summons would make good motorcycles/vehicles or something?

*voice of the Monarch* MECHA-SHIVA! You can't be serious! I mean come on! This is ridiculous!

While I have no problem with the summons being digital and mechanized, the transformer element is pretty cheesy and laughable. I'm going to have a hard time taking anything in this game serious. I can imagine Mr. 33cm telling us his traumatic past that will make players shed a tear only to watch the whole emotional scene destroyed when he rides off into the sunset with his "Lady Bike" complete with obligatory transformation sequence.

If all the summon combine to create some super robot I will laugh even harder. :p

I'm gonna bet that Bahamut will be the games token "airship".

No argument there, but I'll still enjoy it.

This rules!!!!

I'm bored. I'll pay you like a billion dollars. You hack into Square Enix or something, change the game right before it comes out to this. It'll be like Voltron or something! :choc2:!!!
