I am going to make this thread every six months or so until it HAPPENS.


...and a fan made sequel that's only in japanese doesn't count >:[


The game ended all ZOMG LOOK WHAT WE FOUND YEAH NOW WE CAN GO AND DO SPOILER STUFF AND HEY THERE'S THIS NEW CHARACTER THAT WE BOTHERED NAMING AND EVERYTHING and I was like "Oooh, sequel!"



.........but no sequel was made.

I'd like a sequel too. It was a nice fun game to play through.

For being such a simple game it had a great story, good characters, and fun game play. I would more then love to see a sequel.

I haven't played the game but I know of it...

The director of the game Koji Sugimoto, went on to program for Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, I'm not sure what he's doing now.

Hiromichi Tanaka - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiromichi_Tanaka)
The producer, Hiromichi Tanaka, produced Final Fantasy XI and is working on the Rapture mmorpg now, probably again as producer.

I don't know if they'll release a sequel to this game. Try to start up fan fiction or something? :)

I thought it was pretty enjoyable. There'd be no point in making a sequel if Mint and Rue didn't take the spotlight again, though. And pumpkins...lots of pumpkins.

A sequel for ToF would be my gaming dream. Ever since I played it when it first came out I've wanted to see it's well-deserved sequel. I'm not sure I would trust Squeenix to do it though. Wouldn't it be nice to get the original team? *dreamy sigh* But at this point, any movement in that game's direction would have me jumping for joy.

If it ever happens, lord knows I'll be the first camping out in front of the GameStop. :D

P.S.: Has anyone else seen those various online petitions for Dewprism 2 with the thousands of signatures on them? That should be clue enough to those higher up folk it'd be popular.

You can try Amazon's used products, eBay, and some retro-game sellers. You will most likely have to scour the internet, still. I've seen some that are still decently priced.

YTeah they really did need to have a sequel for it, but if they do they need to get rid of that stupid villain duo I think they were called Duke and Belle. Duke was the more annoying one and that fight with him in the star suit was just terrible.

I disliked it and the whole color in that place kind of hurt my eyes. The platforming sequence now that I remember it was also kind of bad. Thankfully you didn't have to play it long.

Duke was one of the best characters in that game. I could never wait for my next Belle and Duke fight.

I liked Mel too. Her outfit was just... nifty keen. <3 And she was well-balanced. She wasn't all sugar and energy. She could get serious if she needed to.
