View Full Version : Why isn't there a Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core sub-forum?

The game is out since March, shouldn't there be a place for that game?

There obviously hasn't been much need for one (I haven't seen a single thread on Crisis Core till this one). Basically much of the same reason why there isn't a "Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings" sub-forum.

You can probally just post crisis core questions and comments in the final fantasy VII forums. I just think eyes on ff is just tired of having to make so many final fantasy VII forums.

I don't think the staff has any problem with making subforums, it's just that there's not much point of there's only going to be like one thread in it. :P

Doesn't this forum have enough subforums already?

There should absolutely be on for a game of such high liking.

I see about 5-6 threads pertaining to Crisis Core. That hardly justifies a subforum.

I think he was being sarcastic.

Either way, someone will take what he said seriously, so my point still stands. :p

...I fail to see the point that link makes. xD

I think the point he's trying to make is...well, I don't know either.

Ah, okay, I clicked on the PSP link in Gamefaqs and it said, "Top PSP Games: #1 Crisis Core".

This doesn't really mean it needs a sub-forum. First off, Gamefaqs sucks. Everything about it sucks. Have you visited those forums? If not, prepare to enjoy quality posts such as,

Yeah...

Besides that also doesn't say anything about the needs of Eyes on Final Fantasy Forums. Let's do an advanced search for threads that have Crisis Core mentioned in the title.
http://forums.eyesonff.com/search.php?searchid=1009857

Before the end of page one (actually there's only one page) we get threads 2004. Obviously we don't talk about that game much here, so we really need another sub-forum in this section yet.

Especially since it leads to a 404 error. EDIT: Well it did for me, at least.

Seriously, this thread isn't going anywhere at all. There just aren't enough threads to warrant creation of a new subforum just for that game. But then again, in my opinion, this forum needs no subforums; just talk about everything in the main forum. If people were good at explaining their specific issues, it would be no problem.

Furthermore, the Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Kingdom Hearts forums don't have subforums and work just fine. Why does the cash cow-spinoff-monger FFVII get them?

It did for me as well, but thats because Gamefaqs constantly redoes its openning pages, like once every 20 minutes :P, what he was trying to imply was that gamefaqs says Crisis Core is the #1 PSP game.

GameFaqs.

I just put up his link.
I think it's what he meant...
don't look at me because of that.

Either case I think it sold it's fait amount of units, I think.
I haven't even placed the game yet.

I think his point was to go to GameFAQs if you desperately need a Crisis Core forum.

Maybe the DoC forum should get cut as well. :P

Does anyone actually post in the DoC forum now?

I think the point is clear enough: If you need to discuss Crisis Core simply make a thread in the Final Fantasy VII forum. As of now, it simply isn't popular enough to warrant having its own sub-forum.

Zero is right. This thread can be closed. Also, this should have been started in Feedback, not FFVII.
