I'm happy with how our mafia did. I think we did pretty well considering 3 of the 4 mafian deaths there wasn't really anything we could do about. I'd like a more traditional set up soon, maybe even a C9. These games get, well, annoying when it comes down to getting lucky with roles.

Yeah, I was wondering about that the whole time. The thing with original roles is they are difficult to balance.

Also my plan was to have Dudley claim cop and take me down, that way you all would think he was actually a cop.

It would have worked if Snape didn't have that role. It was a bit overpowered, a role cop that is immune to nightkills from paranoid gun owners.

The entire game was based on luck with nightchoices.

Goyle was a random shot, and after killing him we tried to eliminate the other mafia. Sirius was pretty obvious after killing Ginny. We knew there was another mafia, so it was obvious.

Only other problem I had was recruiting is supposed to take the place of the nightkill. It can change the dynamics of the setup too much otherwise.

Also Joy only protected mafia. :p

I just don't like roles whose win condition isn't to be the last team standing, and I especially don't like it when I get one of those roles :mad2:. It had it's share of other controversial roles and but what game doesn't have that. Good job to lom and Denmark.

May I just state now how happy I am that this game is finally over? It would have been over Day 8 regardless of who got lynched, you realize. If it wasn't Luna, Luna would have killed the Townie that wasn't Filch and then it would have been a 1-1 spread and thus the victory would have gone to Luna.

I know it's a game, but there needs to be SOME resemblance of sense.

The Cop can't exactly investigate everyone in one night. He has check records, scenes, question people, and all sorts of things for 1 invstigation. It's both sensible and balancing from an ingame prespective that only one investigation can happen a night, especially when you consider the cop needs sleep.

Really, every role in Mafia can be viewed sensibly, with a few exceptions.

There isn't the slightest hint of sense in the cop investigating himself however.
