just came back from watching this any wow.....biggest dissapointment since rush hour 3
it was an ok movie, just wasnt as good as the last 2
the last 2 were classics! this movie was....had no revelance to the last 2. jet li isnt a mummy hes just chinese =/
it was also short and they waited too long to do the movie, they should of just kept imotep or never done the movie at all
opinions?
The guy on E! wouldn't shut up about how bad it was, so I was said, "fuck it."
I saw 2 before I saw 1. Didn't really feel compelled to go see 3 in the first place.
biggest dissapointment since rush hour 3
I take it you didn't see The Love Guru? :p

Just watched it tonight. Definitely the weakest film in the series which makes me sad cause the basic plot and the Chinese backdrop made it more appealing to me but the characters just didn't seem like they were really there. The recasting of the O'Donnell family could have been way better. :rolleyes2

I only watch the Mummy movies when they're on TV anyway. They're all kinda lame, IMHO, and the only good thing about them is Fraser. Having said that, I always try to watch them on TV (as in, I'll make some room for them if I can) because they're pretty good for a random movie fun thing stuff and that.

The first movie was good, the second was okay.. and I've heard that this one's following the downward curve. It's a shame, though, 'cause I actually really liked the first one.
Also, just the fact that Rachel Weisz has been replaced with Maria Bello just bothers me. Why couldn't they just write out the character if Weisz wasn't able to be in the movie?

So did you guys enter the theatres expecting to see egyptian stuff? In that case, you should have paid more attention to the subtitle of the movie.
The movie was just about what I expected. Amusing actions, cheesy (to the point of humoristic) plot, and a few funny one-liners. I was satisfied, and i don't regret using $9.50 on it.

It was okay. About what I expected. O'Conor seemed to act a lot, lot, lot worse in this movie though. It annoyed me xD
The whole thing is humoristic to me though. (Now I'll just put out the fire with MUMMY ESP! xD)
I did like the part were they talked about experience. ("Same mummy. TWICE!")

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm going to see it with a friend this week. I loved the first and second movies in the series, but this one just doesn't appeal to me - especially since Rachel Weisz isn't in it.
