Were you disappointed with Superman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond? I was because I wanted an episode where Batman and Superman revealed their secret identities to their loved ones. Eventually Clark and Terry tell their girlfriends the truth but that happens off screen after the shows were cancelled and before Justice League Unlimited.
That's one element I like about Superman: Doomsday and Spider-Man: The Animated Series. Superman told Lois who he was placing glasses over his eyes and Peter unmasked himself in front of Mary Jane...I know she wasn't the real MJ but at the time I thought she was the real Mary Jane and not a clone.
