Secret of Mana DS

So . . . with Chrono Trigger getting a DS multiplayer adaption . . . how long do you think it will be before we see a SoM adaption? The SNES game multi-play experience still hasn't been bettered by anyone (including its own sequels) . . .

Also, consider that SoM was originally designed for the CD-ROM add on that was canceled . . . which famously caused the SoM staff to cut out something like 30% of the originally planned content. It would amazing to have this re-added back to the game.

And while they're at it, they should resurect the Japan-only sequel to Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 3) . . . Please! :)

I would love to see a remake of this game with it's deleted content restored. Yes, it would be nice to see games like Seiken Densetsu 3 redone and released to the English speaking audience, but we've all played fan translations now so we know about it. To be able to play 30-40% previously unreleased/unknown content? That's would be awesome and what a remake should be all about.

My friend and I still play SoM about every other year on the cartridge that he's had since it first came out all those years ago. Yes. I'm THAT old. I still have the same copy of Final Fantasy "II" (hehe, IV) that I've been playing since it first came out, too.

I'd love to see SoM updated with a 3D graphical style more akin to FF:CC. Or at least not as bland as Children of Mana. Yuck.
